Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As the FP&A Lead at Change.org, you will own end-to-end financial planning and analysis to provide leaders with the financial clarity needed to invest boldly in the mission of strengthening global democracy. You will build reporting, models, and forecasts that leadership relies on for strategic decision-making, operating with real autonomy to run the FP&A cycle rather than contribute to it.
- • Day to day, you will automate departmental and executive reporting, operate the full financial model with minimal oversight, architect AI-enabled FP&A workflows, partner strategically with department leaders on spend, and translate financial analysis into clear, stakeholder-ready narratives that drive accountability and informed decisions.
- • Change.org is the world’s largest platform for democracy, used by over 100 million people annually, and is rebuilding its core petitions platform to empower civic leaders and mobilize hundreds of millions around common-ground solutions. You will join a talented team at the intersection of technology and social impact, focused on building healthier democracies globally.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in strategic financial storytelling, AI-driven process design, and executive-level business partnering. You will gain ownership of the full FP&A function, build scalable systems that outlast individual analysts, and become a trusted advisor to leadership on financial performance and resource allocation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6–10 years of experience in FP&A, finance, or analytical roles with demonstrated ownership of full budgeting and forecasting cycles
- • Proven track record of building or materially improving FP&A processes, designing repeatable and scalable workflows
- • Demonstrated ability to use AI to drive real output, such as accelerating analysis or building automations, with concrete examples required
- • Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills with scripting (VBA and/or Google Apps Script)
- • Strong executive-facing communication, including experience presenting to or supporting CFO, VP Finance, or C-suite
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote role based in the United States, with hiring eligibility across 28 states including CA, NY, TX, FL, and others
- • Competitive, location-based salary: $182,000 in SF/NYC, $173,000 in major hubs (Austin, Boston, LA, Seattle, DC, Chicago), and $154,000 in all other eligible cities
- • Comprehensive benefits and perks package that varies by location, aligned with Change.org’s pay equity philosophy
