đź“‹ Description

  • • Qodeworld is at the forefront of innovation, developing cutting-edge solutions that are shaping the future of technology. We are a dynamic and forward-thinking company committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Our Bangalore-based onsite team is a crucial hub for our research and development efforts, and we are looking for a talented FPGA Design Engineer to join us in this exciting journey.
  • • As an FPGA Design Engineer at Qodeworld, you will play a pivotal role in the entire lifecycle of FPGA-based product development, from initial concept and architecture definition through to detailed design, implementation, verification, and validation. You will be instrumental in translating complex system requirements into robust and efficient FPGA designs, ensuring they meet stringent performance, power, and area targets. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art Intel FPGA technologies and contribute to groundbreaking projects that have a real-world impact.
  • • Your primary responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of FPGA design, including RTL coding in Verilog, synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, and power optimization. You will be deeply involved in the design and implementation of complex digital logic, high-speed interfaces, and custom hardware accelerators. A significant part of your work will involve collaborating closely with system architects, software engineers, and verification engineers to ensure seamless integration of FPGA components into larger SoC-based systems.
  • • You will be expected to develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides. A strong emphasis will be placed on rigorous verification methodologies, including the development of testbenches, simulation, and hardware debugging. You will leverage your expertise to identify and resolve design issues, optimize performance bottlenecks, and ensure the overall quality and reliability of our FPGA solutions.
  • • This role requires a deep understanding of Intel FPGA architectures, development tools (such as Quartus Prime), and best practices for high-performance design. You will be responsible for evaluating new FPGA technologies and methodologies, and recommending their adoption where appropriate to enhance our design capabilities and product offerings.
  • • You will contribute to the architectural definition of new FPGA-based systems, working alongside senior engineers and architects to explore innovative solutions. This includes understanding system-level requirements, partitioning functionality between hardware and software, and defining the interfaces between different components. Your insights will be critical in shaping the direction of our future product development.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with software developers to define and optimize hardware-software co-design, ensuring efficient data flow and control mechanisms. You will also partner with verification engineers to develop comprehensive test strategies and ensure the functional correctness of your designs through simulation and on-hardware testing.
  • • You will be involved in the bring-up and validation of FPGA designs on development boards and target hardware. This hands-on debugging will require a systematic approach to identifying and resolving issues, often involving advanced debugging tools and techniques. Your ability to effectively troubleshoot complex problems will be essential.
  • • Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our design flows and methodologies. This includes identifying areas for automation, developing reusable IP cores, and promoting best practices within the FPGA design team. You will be encouraged to share your knowledge and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for tackling challenging technical problems. You should be adept at working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. A proactive approach to identifying potential issues and proposing solutions is highly valued. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on Qodeworld's technological advancements and contribute to the development of next-generation products.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in Verilog RTL design, synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis for complex FPGA designs.
  • • Hands-on experience with Intel FPGA architectures and development tools (e.g., Quartus Prime).
  • • Strong understanding of SoC-based architectures and hardware-software co-design principles.
  • • Experience with FPGA verification methodologies, including testbench development and simulation.
  • • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • • Generous paid time off and holidays.
  • • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
  • • Access to cutting-edge technology and a collaborative work environment.
