Fractional Head of Legal (3 days per week)

📋 Description

• • As the Fractional Head of Legal (3 days per week), you will lead TheyDo’s legal function end-to-end, ensuring legal operations scale with clarity, speed, and confidence during a critical growth phase and maternity leave coverage from June 2026 to February 2027.
• • You will manage day-to-day contracting, refine and scale legal processes for product and sales teams, serve as the primary internal legal advisor, and partner closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to unblock deals and translate legal complexity into actionable guidance.
• • You will collaborate with external legal partners, maintain and improve the global contract registry, stay ahead of regulatory developments, and leverage technology and AI to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and improve legal efficiency.
• • You will work alongside a full-time Legal Counsel in a fully remote, globally distributed team of 30+ nationalities across 27 countries, contributing to a customer-led, people-first culture at a Series B-backed SaaS company trusted by Fortune 500 enterprises like Ford, Cisco, and Johnson & Johnson.
• • In this role, you will shape the future of legal operations at a scaling tech company, gain experience in AI-driven legal innovation, and develop expertise in SaaS, international jurisdictions, and cross-functional legal enablement while making a tangible impact on how legal supports business agility.
