📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a team of fraud analysts in a player-coach capacity, driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives in fraud detection and prevention.
• Manage day-to-day team operations including scheduling, PTO approval, performance monitoring, and corrective actions while ensuring equitable workload distribution.
• Serve as first-line escalation for complex fraud cases, conduct QA reviews for compliance with regulations and internal policies, and own procedural updates to balance fraud detection with customer experience.
• Collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to test new methodologies, develop data-driven dashboards, and ensure Sponsor Bank commitments are met.
• Operate within a high-visibility, mission-driven fintech company focused on reducing the cost of capital through innovative credit products and autonomous risk systems.
• Join a team of elite technology and finance executives from companies like Microsoft, Google, Nubank, Goldman Sachs, and Sequoia-backed founders.
• Develop leadership and technical skills in fraud operations, data analysis, automation, and AI concepts while contributing to a fast-paced, high-agency culture.
• Achieve measurable impact by improving fraud detection efficiency, latency, and quality through systemic improvements and data-centric feedback loops.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role, preferably at a top 25 US depository financial institution.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets formulas and functions; basic SQL knowledge strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of US banking regulations related to fraud and familiarity with automation, workflow management, and Agentic AI concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience in financial services; comfort with Zendesk, Google Drive, email, and task management tools.
• Ability to work US Pacific Time (9 AM–5 PM with 1-hour break) and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
