- • Own the critical last mile of every vehicle transaction by preparing, reviewing, and submitting 100% compliant legal transfer documents to Departments of Motor Vehicles across multiple states—ensuring customers can drive away in their new or pre-owned vehicle without delay.
- • Verify and process payoff balances on trade-in vehicles with laser-sharp accuracy; reconcile figures with banks, credit unions, and captive finance arms so lien releases are secured and titles are cleared in record time.
- • Serve as the single point of contact for customers, store associates, lienholders, and external partners on all title- and payment-related questions—delivering friendly, jargon-free updates that build trust and reduce anxiety.
- • Navigate a complex web of state-specific forms, taxes, fees, and electronic titling systems while staying ahead of changing regulations; flag potential compliance risks early and recommend process improvements that protect both the customer and the company.
- • Operate seamlessly across multiple platforms—DMS, state DMV portals, payoff systems, and internal trackers—switching contexts without missing a beat and maintaining 99.9% data integrity.
- • Generate and reconcile checks to purchase used vehicles from wholesale auctions, trade-ins, and off-lease returns; ensure every penny is accounted for and every signature is in place before funds are released.
- • Tackle escalations with empathy and urgency, turning frustrated callers into loyal advocates by owning the issue from first contact to final resolution.
- • Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality dashboards; spot trends, celebrate wins, and surface bottlenecks so the team continuously raises the bar.
