- • The Fraud Prevention Agent is a critical first line of defense responsible for detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activity across Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book marketplaces, ensuring marketplace integrity and consumer protection.
- • Day-to-day duties include conducting digital investigations of flagged listings and accounts, analyzing transactional data for fraud patterns, executing fraud mitigation actions (e.g., removals, restrictions), handling escalated customer inquiries, validating seller documentation, documenting case outcomes in systems, and participating in training and special projects.
- • The role sits within Cox Automotive’s Customer Care Group, supporting iconic brands like Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book, and operates as an Individual Contributor with variable shifts (Monday–Saturday, 8am–8pm EST) in a fully remote USA position.
- • The agent will develop strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills while gaining deep expertise in fraud detection systems, marketplace risk management, and customer escalation handling—building a foundation for advancement in fraud prevention, risk analysis, or customer security roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in fraud prevention, investigations, customer service, or risk-related fields (or equivalent combination of education and experience as outlined)
- • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities with capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- • Proficiency in typing, MS Office Suite, Salesforce, and navigating multiple systems; proven verbal and communication skills for customer interactions
