📋 Description
- • A freelance Finance Manager role focused on professionalizing and scaling the finance function for a growing retail and franchise business in South Holland.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include restructuring the finance organization, improving financial processes and controls, setting up clear reporting and management information, handling budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, embedding Visma, reducing reliance on external accountants, guiding finance staff, creating oversight across multiple entities, and managing compliance and reporting related to crowdfunding.
- • The company is an entrepreneurial retail business with multiple retail and franchise activities experiencing rapid growth, seeking to professionalize its finance foundation with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
- • The role offers the opportunity to build a scalable, practical finance foundation, gain leadership experience in a multi-entity environment, and directly impact financial governance and operational efficiency in a growing organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience as Senior Finance Professional, Finance Manager, Head of Finance, Controller or equivalent
- • Fluent Dutch and good English
- • Experience guiding or managing finance staff
- • Ability to quickly bring structure to numbers, processes, and responsibilities
- • Experience with reporting, cash flow, forecasting, and internal controls
- • Preference for experience in retail, franchise, multi-entity organizations, or growth companies
- • Familiarity with Visma or ability to quickly learn new financial systems
