- • Own the full lifecycle of features that safeguard billions of cloud items for 20,000+ businesses. From first whiteboard sketch to production rollout, you will design, build, test, and maintain secure, scalable Ruby on Rails back-end services and polished React front-end experiences that customers trust with their most critical data.
- • Join a tight-knit, cross-functional squad of 4-7 engineers, designers, and product managers who ship weekly. You will participate in every stage of planning, run architecture spikes, debate trade-offs in technical design sessions, and see your code in production days—not months—later.
- • Champion quality and reliability by writing clean, test-driven Ruby and TypeScript, maintaining >90 % unit-test coverage with RSpec, and automating regression, performance, and security checks in CI. You will also refine our on-call rotation, reducing incident MTTR through better observability, runbooks, and blameless post-mortems.
- • Optimize for performance at scale. Our systems process petabytes of metadata and millions of API calls per day; you will profile PostgreSQL queries, introduce caching layers, and refactor hot paths to shave milliseconds off customer-facing endpoints while keeping infrastructure costs predictable.
- • Elevate the developer experience. Whether it is wiring GraphQL mutations, extending our design-system React components, or building internal CLI tools that cut release time in half, you will spot friction and ship improvements that let the entire team move faster.
- • Leverage AI as a force-multiplier. We encourage experimentation with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT plug-ins, and custom LLM agents to generate tests, refactor legacy code, and surface insights from production logs—freeing you to focus on creative problem-solving.
- • Stay customer-obsessed. You will sit in on customer calls, read NPS feedback, and instrument features to understand real-world usage. When a merchant loses sleep over lost GitHub issues, you will feel—and fix—their pain.
- • Grow without limits. Every quarter you will set personal OKRs with your manager, present a technical lunch-and-learn, and use your annual Level-Up budget to attend conferences, buy books, or earn certifications that keep your skills razor-sharp.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of professional full-stack development with at least one year of production Ruby on Rails and React experience
- • Solid grasp of RESTful API design, Git workflows, and Linux command-line tooling
- • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization
- • Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable code (RSpec, Jest, or similar) and participate in code reviews
- • Nice-to-have: exposure to GraphQL, TypeScript, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), or CI/CD pipeline improvements
