Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • As a Full-Time Registered Dietitian at Cylinder Health Inc., you will play a vital role in transforming digestive health care by delivering compassionate, evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to individuals suffering from chronic gastrointestinal conditions such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, IBS, SIBO, and food intolerances. Your work will directly improve members’ quality of life by reducing symptom burden and empowering them to take control of their health through personalized nutrition and behavior change strategies.
- • Day to day, you will conduct HIPAA-compliant phone and video sessions to provide individualized MNT, including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation. You will apply evidence-based approaches like the low-FODMAP diet, elimination diets, and mindful eating to relieve symptoms, while using motivational interviewing, strengths-based care, and Transtheoretical Model (TTM) techniques to support members through stages of change. You’ll guide members in setting SMART goals, building self-efficacy, managing supplements and probiotics, and advocating for their health needs.
- • You will document all sessions in accordance with clinical guidelines and company standards, ensuring accurate, confidential records of Protected Health Information (PHI). Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, follow clinical pathways, and make appropriate referrals based on escalation guidelines, all while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations.
- • Cylinder Health is a mission-driven digital health company dedicated to lifting up people living with digestive disease who often feel overlooked or stigmatized. By combining cutting-edge microbiome research with a tech-enabled, human-led platform, we provide accessible, scalable care that helps members spend less time managing symptoms and more time living fully. As a remote-first organization, we offer flexibility and autonomy while fostering a supportive, collaborative community of health professionals.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in gastrointestinal nutrition, behavioral counseling, and digital health delivery. You’ll gain experience integrating technology into clinical practice, refining your motivational interviewing and behavior change skills, and contributing to innovative care models that address unmet needs in chronic disease management. This position offers meaningful professional growth in a purpose-driven environment where your work has a direct, measurable impact on member outcomes.

- • A quiet, professional, dedicated workspace with secure, high-speed internet connection
