  • • VidRush is at the forefront of revolutionizing video creation with its AI-native platform, transforming a simple idea into a fully produced, long-form video in under an hour. We are building a new paradigm for video creation, one that feels more akin to writing than traditional editing. Our innovative approach, powered by coordinated AI agents, handles everything from research and scripting to voiceover, visuals, motion graphics, and rendering, eliminating timelines and editing complexities.   • • We are seeking a highly motivated and autonomous Technical Recruiter to spearhead the rapid scaling of our engineering team. Your primary focus will be on sourcing and closing exceptional, impact-driven backend engineers. We are not looking for a recruiter who focuses on volume; instead, we seek an individual who can consistently identify and attract high-quality, autonomous, and pragmatic engineers. You will be instrumental in building a repeatable and efficient hiring engine, working closely with the founders, moving at a rapid pace, and driving tangible results.
  • • Your recruitment efforts will concentrate on two core categories of backend engineers. The first category involves Python AI and Agentic Backend Engineers. These individuals will work on critical pipelines and AI agent modules, leveraging frameworks like LangGraph and LangChain. Their responsibilities will include developing agentic search and research workflows, implementing video understanding and extraction tools, and building automation pipelines that integrate seamlessly with our editor and video recipe system. The second category focuses on Backend Engineers for Web Applications, who will be responsible for developing and maintaining the scalable backend systems that power our web-based video editor, project management tools, media pipelines, and deployment infrastructure.
  • • At VidRush, we are extremely selective in our hiring process. We prioritize demonstrable skills and impact over traditional credentials. We value autonomy, engineering taste, problem-solving abilities, pragmatism, and the capacity to build clean, efficient systems rapidly without the need for constant micromanagement. A key characteristic we seek to avoid is the brute-force approach to problem-solving; for instance, we want engineers who utilize efficient APIs and tools rather than resorting to inefficient methods like extracting thousands of video frames for processing. We are looking for engineers who can own modules end-to-end, make astute build-vs-buy decisions, and operate independently with minimal oversight.
  • • As our Technical Recruiter, you will own the entire hiring lifecycle. This includes **Sourcing & Outreach**, where you will proactively find and engage talented engineers, particularly in Turkey and Eastern Europe. You will tap into diverse communities, leverage referrals, explore hidden networks, and go beyond standard LinkedIn cold outreach. A significant part of your role will be to build scalable sourcing systems, including developing effective pipelines, templates, and strategic approaches.
  • • Your responsibilities will also encompass **Screening & Qualification**. You will conduct initial recruiter interviews to thoroughly assess candidates for independence, competence, and problem-solving acumen. A critical aspect of this stage is filtering out candidates who require excessive guidance or demonstrate a lack of pragmatism in their approach to technical challenges.
  • • Furthermore, you will be responsible for optimizing and operationalizing our **Hiring Process & Engine**. This involves managing the candidate funnel, ensuring timely follow-ups, coordinating trial tasks and feedback loops, and maintaining candidate engagement to keep them warm and progressing through the hiring stages efficiently.
  • • A crucial element of your role will be **Partnership with Founders**. You will work directly with the founding team, providing clear and actionable market feedback on compensation ranges, talent availability, and the competitive landscape. You will also play a key role in shaping role definitions and refining our overall hiring strategy.
  • • Success in your first 60 days will be measured by the establishment of a consistently active backend engineer pipeline, the consistent progression of 3-5 high-quality candidates weekly, the identification of strong sourcing channels for talent in Turkey and Eastern Europe, a significant improvement in hiring velocity, and a reduction in the time founders spend on recruiting activities, ultimately leading to the successful closure of multiple hires.
