Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of tokenized fund flows: from investor subscription instructions arriving on-chain, through off-chain settlement with fund administrators and custodians, to final token issuance or burn. You will reconcile every cent and every token, ensuring NAV accuracy and zero-loss processing even as volumes scale beyond the current 1 B+ already locked on Centrifuge.
- • Act as the primary operational bridge between traditional fund service providers (administrators, transfer agents, custodians, auditors) and our internal product, legal, and engineering teams. You will translate legacy fund rules into deterministic smart-contract logic, draft operating memoranda, and run weekly cross-functional stand-ups so that every stakeholder understands settlement cut-offs, corporate-action calendars, and fee accrual methodologies.
- • Design and continuously refine fee models that minimize performance drag for investors while covering all operational, custody, and gas costs. You will model scenarios in Excel and Python, present recommendations to the CFO and Head of Product, and then shepherd approved changes through governance votes and smart-contract upgrades.
- • Build automated exception-handling playbooks. When a subscription arrives in a restricted jurisdiction, or a redemption exceeds daily liquidity buffers, your runbooks will trigger KYC/AML checks, notify legal, queue partial settlements, and update investor dashboards—reducing manual intervention from hours to minutes.
- • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for internal leadership, external auditors, and index providers such as S&P Dow Jones. These reports cover NAV movements, fee accruals, token supply changes, and on-chain transaction volumes, and must be both regulator-ready and understandable to DeFi-native investors.
- • Contribute to new fund launches—currently planned across UCITS, ’40 Act, and Cayman structures—by mapping fund constitutions into operational procedures, stress-testing settlement flows on testnets, and training client-facing teams on subscription mechanics.
- • Maintain a living risk register covering custody risk, smart-contract upgrade risk, liquidity risk, and regulatory change risk. You will quantify exposures, propose mitigations, and present quarterly updates to the Risk Committee.
- • Champion a culture of precision and transparency: run post-mortems for every operational incident, publish root-cause analyses in Notion, and turn lessons learned into automated safeguards that prevent recurrence.
- • Stay ahead of the evolving regulatory landscape (MiCA, AIFMD, SEC, IOSCO guidance) by monitoring policy bulletins, participating in industry working groups, and translating new rules into operational checklists before they take effect.
- • Mentor junior operations analysts, review their reconciliations, and create onboarding curricula so that the team can scale in step with Centrifuge’s roadmap of 10× asset growth over the next 24 months.
