- • Oversee and advance deals through each stage of the funding funnel, collaborating cross-functionally to eliminate bottlenecks, maintain momentum, and achieve daily funding and conversion targets with precision and speed.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for Channel partners (ISOs), communicating directly with sales reps and decision makers to secure and close funding opportunities.
- • Proactively reach out to ISO sales reps to negotiate and win deals through exceptions to standard deal terms, driving volume and revenue growth.
- • Deliver exceptional customer service to ISO partners by resolving issues promptly, building trust, and creating urgency within a fast-paced, transactional sales environment.
- • Collaborate closely with the underwriting team to ensure deal viability, drive profitable funding volume, and align on risk and compliance requirements.
- • Manage the flow of deal documentation and requirements, ensuring timely submission and adherence to internal processes to keep the sales pipeline moving efficiently.
- • Problem-solve with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, reducing friction and increasing operational efficiency in the funding workflow.
- • Respond with urgency to all internal and external requests, maintaining high responsiveness standards for emails, calls, texts, and chats to meet strict time-based performance metrics.
- • Maintain accurate records of deal progress and partner interactions, ensuring transparency and accountability across the funding lifecycle.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving company policies, product offerings, and regulatory requirements within the small business financing sector.
- • Balance multiple high-volume deals simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet monthly sales goals and performance benchmarks.
- • Represent Forward Financing with professionalism and integrity, reinforcing the company’s reputation for transparency, speed, and customer-centric service.
- • Utilize communication tools to manage inbound and outbound interactions at scale, including phone, email, text, and chat platforms, while maintaining compliance and data accuracy.
- • Contribute to a culture of kindness, direct communication, and accountability by providing candid feedback, supporting teammates, and embodying company values in daily interactions.
- • Participate in training and onboarding to rapidly master the company’s funding process, technology systems, and unique value proposition for small businesses.
- • Align all actions with the company mission of unlocking capital for underserved small businesses, ensuring every interaction supports broader business impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred
- • 2+ years of experience in a sales, deal desk, or related role
- • Experience handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, emails, texts, and chats
- • Experience being held to task volume and response time metrics
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Proactive with excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
