📋 Description

• The Garnishment Specialist I ensures customers’ employees receive accurate and timely wage garnishment payments by managing the end-to-end garnishment process within OneSource Virtual’s payroll automation platform.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and setting up garnishment orders, maintaining garnishment rules in the payroll system, processing reports for automated responses, updating garnishment screens with start/stop dates, resolving payroll and garnishment inquiries from courts, agencies, and employees, processing lump sum payments, and supporting special projects like account reconciliations and cross-training.
• OneSource Virtual (OSV) is a trusted partner to Workday customers since 2008, delivering compliant, in-tenant technology and expert services to automate payroll, taxes, benefits, and accounts payable for over 1,500 clients, with 92% retention and $225+ billion in annual treasury movement.

🎯 Requirements

• General knowledge of payroll functions and processing, including bookkeeping, payroll tax, fringe benefits and garnishments
• Proficient use of PC spreadsheet applications
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work within established service level deadlines and multi-task effectively
• Experience analyzing legal orders and applying state-specific garnishment rules
• Professional communication skills for interacting with courts, agencies, and employees
