- • The Gastroenterology Health & Science Sales Specialist is a field-based role responsible for driving the launch and growth of Pfizer’s GI products through compliant, strategic relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders in assigned accounts.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include driving customer engagement through in-person interactions, building compliant relationships with HCPs and office staff, delivering approved promotional and disease-state messaging, leveraging product and market knowledge to identify opportunities, supporting patient access via reimbursement and co-pay resources, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and using digital tools to optimize territory activities.
- • Pfizer’s GI Sales organization exists to improve the lives of people with serious gastrointestinal disease by connecting scientific innovation to clinicians and care systems, promoting therapies compliantly, reducing access barriers, and strengthening care pathways to ensure better patient outcomes and higher standards of care.
- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in gastroenterology therapeutics, refine strategic selling and engagement skills, build influence with KOLs and high-value accounts, and contribute to market shaping through evidence-based narratives—positioning them for advancement within Pfizer’s specialty care sales organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree, or associate’s degree with 8+ years of work experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years of work experience
- • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales, marketing, or aligned therapeutic-specific healthcare provider experience
- • Valid US driver’s license with a driving record compliant with company standards; no DUI/DWI or impaired driving citations in the past 7 years
🏖️ Benefits
- • Annual base salary range of $108,600 - $250,700, plus eligibility for a Sales Incentive bonus
- • Comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with Pfizer Matching Contributions, additional Pfizer Retirement Savings Contribution, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave
