- • The General Counsel will own all legal, regulatory, and compliance functions for the Sei Development Foundation, providing strategic legal leadership in a high-growth blockchain environment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on corporate governance, drafting and negotiating key agreements, managing compliance programs (AML/KYC, sanctions, securities law), overseeing token-related legal matters, managing internal and external legal teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance across global jurisdictions.
- • The Sei Development Foundation supports Sei, the first parallelized layer 1 blockchain, focused on delivering high-performance, scalable infrastructure for Web3 applications with a mission to combine web2 performance with web3 decentralization.
- • The role offers the opportunity to build legal infrastructure from the ground up, shape regulatory strategy for a pioneering blockchain project, and gain deep expertise in the intersection of digital assets, financial regulation, and global compliance in a fast-moving, innovative organization.
