  • • KPR Co is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and drive sustainable growth for our premier AEC industry community and media platform.
  • • This is a pivotal, hands-on operator role where you will own the Profit and Loss (P&L) for all business lines, including events, memberships, and media/content, with a clear objective of achieving and maintaining profitability while prioritizing audience growth and deepening community engagement.
  • • You will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies tailored to each business segment, focusing on expanding audience reach, increasing membership numbers, and driving event attendance, all while ensuring cost-effectiveness through robust sponsorship and membership models.
  • • A key responsibility will be establishing and managing a rigorous revenue forecasting cadence, providing detailed financial reports, and conducting variance analyses for leadership.
  • • You will proactively identify and evaluate new revenue streams, such as strategic partnerships, licensing opportunities, digital product development, and innovative sponsorship packages, presenting well-researched recommendations to senior management.
  • • Effective Accounts Receivable (A/R) management is crucial, ensuring timely invoicing, efficient collections, and maintaining healthy cash flow to support business operations.
  • • You will oversee the entire lifecycle of KPR Co’s event portfolio, from meticulous planning and flawless execution to P&L management, encompassing Quarterly Summits, Integrated Owners Forum (IOF) sessions, specialized workshops, partner events, and the development of new event formats.
  • • Leading the sponsorship sales process is a core function, which involves crafting compelling sponsorship packages, nurturing strong sponsor relationships, and ensuring all sponsor deliverables are met to the highest standard.
  • • You will be responsible for managing and expanding our diverse membership programs, including the tiered Mastermind groups, Integrated Owners Forum, Integrated Partners, and the Catalyst network, with a strategic focus on increasing total membership, enhancing member engagement, and elevating the overall member experience.
  • • A critical aspect of the role is ensuring that all events and community programs effectively serve as powerful engines for lead generation and brand building, benefiting both KPR Co and our valued sponsor partners.
  • • You will manage event budgets meticulously, oversee vendor relationships, and handle all production logistics to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • • Operationally, you will manage the content and media production pipeline, ensuring a smooth workflow for scheduling, production, distribution, and publishing across all channels, including our top-ranked podcast, newsletter/Substack, blog, video content, and social media platforms.
  • • While KP Reddy will continue to create content, you will own the operational aspects, ensuring the content engine runs efficiently and independently, allowing him to focus on creation while you manage everything surrounding it.
  • • You will be a driving force behind audience growth across all media channels, setting and achieving measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for subscriber base expansion, podcast listenership, and social media following.
  • • Managing content-related revenue streams, including sponsorships and advertising, will be essential to ensure the media platform is cost-neutral while prioritizing audience engagement and quality.
  • • You will act as a high-output individual contributor, managing the day-to-day operations across events, media production, memberships, and sponsorship management, leveraging your strong operational instincts to build systems and optimize processes.
  • • You will effectively manage the relationship with our outsourced sales team, providing them with necessary collateral, lead flow, and context to convert marketing-generated leads, and expertly managing the handoff from sales pitch to deal closure.
  • • A forward-thinking approach is required, driving the adoption of AI tools and modern technologies across workflows to significantly enhance efficiency and the quality of output.
  • • You will partner closely with shared services departments (finance, HR, IT, legal) to ensure seamless coordination of centralized functions and support for the business.
  • • Establishing and optimizing internal processes, workflows, and systems will be key to supporting a scaling business, requiring a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
  • • You will build a strong business case for future hires as the business expands, with a clear path to team building contingent upon demonstrated results and sound budget performance.
  • • You will develop and manage comprehensive sponsorship programs designed to connect AEC businesses with KPR Co’s engaged member community, delivering tangible value through brand exposure, lead generation, and direct access to industry decision-makers.
  • • You will serve as a critical go-to-market engine for a portfolio of AEC businesses, actively supporting their marketing initiatives, brand visibility, and audience development through KPR Co’s established events, content, and community platforms.
  • • Onboarding and managing sponsors as integral program partners will be a key responsibility, ensuring they receive measurable Return on Investment (ROI) and are thoughtfully integrated into events, content, and community programming.
  • • You will contribute valuable market intelligence, competitive insights, and analysis of industry trends, leveraging KPR Co’s unique position as a central convener within the AEC ecosystem.
  • • Success in the first 12 months will involve maintaining profitability at or above a 10% margin while simultaneously growing audience reach and membership numbers across all business lines.
  • • You will professionalize event operations by developing repeatable playbooks, establishing clear budgets, and fostering growth in both sponsor and attendee bases.
  • • A significant focus will be on growing total membership numbers, demonstrating measurable improvements in retention rates, engagement depth, and the overall quality of the member experience.
  • • You will drive sustainable audience growth across all media channels, including subscriber bases, podcast listenership, and social media following, with a consistent increase in engagement metrics.
  • • You will build and professionalize the operational infrastructure, including processes, tools, and reporting cadences, ensuring KPR Co runs smoothly day-to-day without requiring the founder’s direct involvement in operational or logistical matters.
  • • Establishing a clear, data-driven reporting cadence that provides leadership with transparent visibility into KPR Co’s performance is a key objective.
