- • This pivotal role, General Manager (GM) for Embed and Ramp, is designed to lead and scale Kraken's innovative offerings that extend crypto's reach beyond our core exchange. You will be instrumental in powering crypto experiences for a wide array of partners, including banks, fintech companies, digital wallets, and various other platforms. This is a senior, high-impact General Manager position with comprehensive, end-to-end accountability for achieving significant business outcomes. You will operate with the agility and drive of a startup within Kraken's robust shared platform framework.
- • Your primary responsibilities will encompass driving revenue growth, fostering widespread adoption of our embeddable solutions, and cultivating enduring, valuable partner relationships. You will strategically leverage Kraken's existing, powerful infrastructure, which spans our exchange capabilities, payment processing, blockchain expertise, compliance frameworks, and risk management systems. This role demands a commercially astute, externally focused leader with a proven track record in growing B2B or B2B2C services, adept at building and nurturing sales pipelines, and skilled at translating complex partner needs into scalable, effective product strategies.
- • As the GM, you will own the overarching success of Kraken Embed and Kraken Ramp. This includes defining and executing the strategic vision, driving adoption rates, achieving ambitious revenue targets, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for our partners. You will act as the definitive business owner for these services, with direct accountability for results, moving beyond mere roadmap delivery to tangible business impact.
- • A key aspect of this role involves defining and continuously evolving the product strategy and roadmap. This will be achieved through close collaboration with dedicated product and engineering managers, as well as our specialized payments and blockchain platform teams, ensuring our offerings remain cutting-edge and aligned with market demands.
- • You will spearhead the go-to-market execution, meticulously crafting pricing models, packaging strategies, partner segmentation approaches, and distribution channels to maximize market penetration and revenue generation.
- • A significant part of your role will involve working intimately with Sales leadership and frontline sellers. You will provide crucial support for pipeline development, assist in deal execution, and drive growth within strategic key accounts, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented sales environment.
- • You will be a highly visible, externally facing leader, engaging directly with current and prospective partners. This includes leading sales calls, participating in executive-level meetings, and representing Kraken at select industry events, building Kraken's brand and influence within the partner ecosystem.
- • Building and scaling strong relationships across diverse entities such as banks, neobanks, fintech innovators, and embedded finance platforms will be paramount. You will leverage existing networks where possible, while also forging new, strategic alliances.
- • You will lead and develop a growing, high-performing team comprising product and engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- • Close alignment with our Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations departments is essential to navigate the complex regulatory and operational landscapes across various global markets, ensuring our solutions are both compliant and scalable.
- • Internally, you will be the primary advocate for Kraken Embed and Ramp, securing necessary resources, aligning cross-functional priorities, and proactively identifying and resolving dependencies that could impede progress.
- • Crucially, you will define, monitor, and report on key success metrics, encompassing adoption rates, transaction volumes, revenue generation, and overall partner satisfaction and success, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization.
