- • As the General Manager of Employer of Record (EOR) at Deel, you will lead the company’s largest and most foundational business unit, which represents roughly one-third of total revenue and serves as the engine behind Deel’s global expansion platform. This role is critical to scaling Deel’s mission of enabling frictionless global hiring by owning the P&L, growth strategy, and operational excellence of EOR across 150+ countries.
- • You will own the EOR business end-to-end, driving growth, defining and executing the roadmap to expand market leadership, and verticalizing offerings for complex industries such as shipping, mining, and entertainment. You will scale operations, oversee global compliance, onboarding, payroll, and lifecycle management, and evolve the product toward a more scalable, tech-enabled platform through automation, APIs, and improved customer experience.
- • You will lead cross-functional execution across product, engineering, legal, operations, finance, and go-to-market teams, aligning priorities and acting as the face of EOR internally and externally with key stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational rigor to drive execution at scale.
- • You will operate with data to prioritize investments and improve performance, leveraging Deel’s AI-powered tools and fully owned payroll infrastructure to support every worker type in 150+ countries. Your work will directly impact millions of people’s working lives by ensuring compliant, timely payments and access to healthcare and benefits in 109 countries.
- • You will join a fully remote, globally distributed team of 7,000+ across more than 100 countries, speaking 74 languages, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and innovation. 🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of experience in general management, operations, or workforce platforms
- • Proven track record owning and scaling large P&L businesses in high-growth environments
- • Experience leading global, regulated, and operationally complex businesses
- • Ability to lead large, matrixed organizations and influence without authority
- • Strategic and hands-on operator with strong execution rigor
- • Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- • Strong product and operational judgment
- • Executive presence with C-suite credibility
