  • • Vana, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Field Collections Manager to join our dynamic team in Honduras. This pivotal role is designed to significantly enhance our cartera recovery efforts by employing strategic doorstep management, effective negotiation tactics, and diligent investigative work. Your primary mission will be to maximize the recovery of overdue accounts, particularly those in high delinquency, ensuring a robust and healthy financial portfolio for the company.
  • • As a Field Collections Manager, you will be at the forefront of our recovery operations, directly engaging with clients to resolve outstanding debts. This involves conducting thorough and professional home and workplace visits, approaching each interaction with empathy, understanding, and a clear objective to find mutually agreeable solutions. Your ability to build rapport and communicate effectively will be crucial in navigating sensitive financial discussions and achieving successful outcomes.
  • • A core component of your role will be the skillful negotiation of payment arrangements. This includes establishing payment plans, securing promises to pay, and facilitating debt restructuring where appropriate. You will leverage your understanding of client circumstances and company policies to craft solutions that are both beneficial to Vana, Inc. and sustainable for the client, thereby minimizing the risk of default and fostering long-term customer relationships.
  • • Beyond direct negotiation, you will be instrumental in conducting field-based customer location activities. This requires a proactive and investigative approach to trace clients who may have relocated or become difficult to reach. Your efforts in validating client information will be essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring the integrity of our customer database.
  • • A critical aspect of your responsibilities will be the detection and documentation of potential fraud. You will be trained to identify red flags and suspicious activities, reporting your findings promptly and accurately. This vigilance is vital in protecting Vana, Inc. from financial losses and maintaining a secure operational environment.
  • • To ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of your field operations, you will be responsible for updating client information in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in real-time. Accurate and up-to-date data is paramount for tracking progress, analyzing trends, and making informed decisions. This requires proficiency in using mobile applications for data entry and management.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in field collections or credit investigations, demonstrating a strong understanding of debt recovery processes and legal frameworks. Your ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and navigate diverse geographical areas will be key to your success.
  • • You will be expected to utilize various technological tools, including mobile applications for field management, GPS for navigation, and digital mapping services to optimize your routes and schedules. Familiarity with negotiation techniques and persuasive communication strategies is essential for achieving optimal results.
  • • A deep understanding of local zoning and community structures will be advantageous, enabling you to approach clients more effectively and efficiently. This local knowledge will also aid in identifying potential risks and opportunities within specific neighborhoods.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the financial health of Vana, Inc. while developing your skills in negotiation, investigation, and customer relationship management. If you are a self-starter with a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to achieving targets, we encourage you to apply.
  • • You will be empowered to make a tangible impact by directly influencing the company's financial performance through successful debt recovery. Your daily activities will involve strategic planning of your routes, executing field visits, conducting negotiations, and meticulously documenting your findings, all while adhering to company policies and ethical standards.
  • • We are looking for individuals who are not only adept at collections but also possess a strong sense of integrity and professionalism. Your ability to handle challenging conversations with diplomacy and respect will be highly valued.
  • • This position requires a proactive mindset, where you are constantly seeking ways to improve processes, identify new recovery strategies, and contribute to the overall success of the collections department.
  • • You will be an integral part of a supportive team, working collaboratively to achieve shared goals and contributing to a positive work environment. Your insights and experiences from the field will be invaluable in shaping our future collection strategies.
  • • The role demands a high level of autonomy and responsibility, allowing you to take ownership of your portfolio and drive results. We trust our Field Collections Managers to manage their territories effectively and deliver consistent performance.
  • • Ultimately, your success in this role will be measured by your ability to consistently meet and exceed recovery targets, maintain accurate records, and uphold the reputation of Vana, Inc. as a responsible and ethical organization.
