  • • As the Global Accounting Director at Ddome Inc., you will be the pivotal leader responsible for the entire global accounting function, overseeing operations across three key locations: EMEA, the US, and Singapore.
  • • Your primary mandate is to ensure the absolute integrity, accuracy, and unwavering compliance of the Group’s financial records, establishing a robust and audit-ready accounting organization capable of supporting a rapidly expanding SaaS business and its increasingly complex reporting and statutory demands.
  • • This role requires you to manage and cultivate a high-performing, talented accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • • You will strategically coordinate with external accounting partners and advisors where necessary, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization of external expertise.
  • • As the senior accounting leader, you will serve as a key point of contact and collaborator for cross-functional stakeholders worldwide, providing critical financial insights and guidance.
  • • You will partner closely with the broader Finance leadership team to define and implement global accounting policies, significantly strengthen internal controls, proactively identify and mitigate financial risks, and provide essential support for strategic initiatives.
  • • These strategic initiatives may include the establishment of new entities, the evolution of accounting processes and tooling, and the integration of potential Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
  • • This is a high-ownership position demanding exceptional technical accounting judgment, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely in English to international stakeholders and auditors.
  • • You will set the global operating rhythm and establish high standards for accounting practices, ensuring consistent and high-quality execution across all geographical regions.
  • • You will own the end-to-end governance of the month-end and year-end close processes, meticulously managing close timelines, defining review standards, implementing quality controls, and overseeing escalation management.
  • • A core responsibility is ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet through the implementation of rigorous reconciliation procedures and thorough review processes.
  • • You will be a key driver of continuous improvements aimed at reducing close timelines and enhancing the overall reliability of financial reporting.
  • • You will own, document, and maintain critical accounting positions and policies specifically tailored for a global SaaS environment, including but not limited to revenue recognition, contract modifications, commission accounting, capitalization of costs, foreign currency (FX) transactions, lease accounting, share-based payments, and intercompany transactions.
  • • You will ensure the appropriate application of local statutory requirements while maintaining consistency with group reporting and management reporting principles.
  • • Proactively assess the impact of evolving accounting standards and business changes, translating these into practical and effective operational accounting practices.
  • • You will serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and advisors, taking full ownership of audit planning, coordination, and successful delivery.
  • • You will maintain year-round audit readiness by ensuring robust documentation, providing clear control evidence, and managing a disciplined process for requests for supporting documents (PBC).
  • • You will actively manage relationships with local external advisors, including tax, payroll, and corporate secretarial services, across various jurisdictions as required.
  • • You will provide essential oversight for revenue accounting related to subscription-based offerings, encompassing billing flows, revenue recognition, deferred revenue management, and cut-off procedures.
  • • You will collaborate effectively with Sales Operations/RevOps, Legal, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams to ensure that contracting and pricing structures are conducive to clean and accurate accounting outcomes.
  • • You will guide and implement improvements to the order-to-cash process controls, focusing on invoicing quality, credit note management, collections escalation, and bad debt policy.
  • • You will own the consolidation processes across all entities, ensuring accurate intercompany accounting, reconciliations, eliminations, and multi-currency translations where applicable.
  • • You will guarantee the quality and timeliness of inputs for group reporting and work closely with FP&A on management reporting, variance analysis, and the development of executive dashboards.
  • • You will design and strengthen accounting processes to effectively support business scale, covering critical areas such as close, revenue, treasury, intercompany, and compliance.
  • • You will proactively identify potential accounting, tax, and treasury risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
  • • You will contribute to shaping the roadmap for accounting tooling and automation, including ERP systems, close management software, and billing integrations, balancing pragmatic solutions with long-term scalability.
  • • You will lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a culture of rigor, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • • You will define the optimal balance between in-house accounting functions and outsourced services, ensuring the operating model is robust and scalable for global growth.
  • • You will collaborate with CPA firms and external advisors to ensure timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions.
  • • You will prepare and support the filing of both local and international tax returns.
  • • You will assist with the documentation and calculation of transfer pricing arrangements.
  • • You will ensure the team is equipped to handle the complexities of international accounting and reporting standards.
  • • You will contribute to the overall financial strategy and decision-making processes of the company.
