  • • The Global Clinical Strategy Leader - Cardio Vascular role at GE HealthCare Technologies Inc. is pivotal in shaping the clinical direction of the Surgical Visualization and Guidance (SVG) business unit, ensuring that innovative imaging technologies are grounded in robust clinical evidence and aligned with real-world surgical needs to improve patient outcomes and drive market adoption.
  • • This role bridges clinical expertise with commercial strategy, translating deep medical insights into actionable product requirements, evidence generation plans, and market differentiation strategies that support the company’s mission to advance surgical intervention through real-time visual guidance.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing global clinical strategies aligned with corporate goals, monitoring emerging clinical trends, and translating insights into product requirements through close collaboration with Product Management and R&D teams.
  • • The role involves designing and managing clinical research programs in partnership with CROs and principal investigators, establishing clinically meaningful endpoints, ensuring regulatory compliance across target markets, and overseeing study execution to demonstrate product efficacy, safety, and value.
  • • A key function is supporting the establishment and facilitation of global and regional Medical Advisory Boards, including agenda development, expert recruitment, insight synthesis, and ensuring compliance with healthcare interaction regulations.
  • • The incumbent will build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), develop and deliver clinical education programs, represent GE HealthCare at major medical conferences, and collaborate with marketing to create clinically compelling messaging that drives adoption of ultrasound applications.
  • • Additional duties include translating clinical value into economic value propositions for stakeholders, monitoring competitive positioning, contributing to pricing and reimbursement strategies, and providing clinical input for business development initiatives such as partnerships and acquisitions.
  • • The role requires balancing clinical excellence with business objectives, managing budgets and resources, and applying knowledge of global healthcare systems, care delivery models, and regional practice variations to inform strategy.
  • • Success is measured by the execution of clinical strategies that drive product adoption, generation of high-quality clinical evidence supporting claims, establishment of influential KOL networks, integration of clinical insights into product development, and the delivery of impactful Medical Advisory Board meetings that shape portfolio direction.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Advanced degree (MD, PhD, MBBS or equivalent) in a relevant healthcare specialty.
  • • 5+ years of experience in the medical device or diagnostic imaging industry.
  • • Proven experience supporting clinical strategy for product portfolios and managing clinical research programs and evidence generation.
  • • Demonstrated ability to work with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and lead clinical advocacy programs.
  • • Understanding of ultrasound applications across clinical specialties, clinical workflow, healthcare economics, and regulatory requirements for clinical evidence in major markets.
  • • Experience with budget management, resource allocation, product lifecycle management, and commercialization processes.
  • • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
