đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Global HR Specialist at Distro, Inc., you will be at the forefront of managing the entire employee lifecycle for our Employer of Record (EOR) clients and their employees across a diverse range of international locations. This pivotal role demands a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can navigate the complexities of global employment, ensuring seamless operations and unwavering compliance.
  • • You will be instrumental in managing critical HR functions from the initial stages of onboarding new talent to addressing ongoing employment inquiries, ensuring adherence to all relevant legal frameworks, and expertly handling the offboarding process. Your expertise will directly impact the success and compliance of our clients' international workforces.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve close collaboration with a variety of internal teams, including account management, payroll, and legal departments, as well as external clients and international partners. This collaborative effort is essential to guarantee that all employment practices align with local, national, and international labor laws, mitigating risks and fostering a compliant and productive work environment.
  • • You will take ownership of the onboarding process for EOR employees in your designated countries, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate, compliant, and efficiently processed. This includes managing employment changes, such as promotions, transfers, or contract modifications, and overseeing the complete offboarding procedure with sensitivity and adherence to legal requirements.
  • • A key responsibility is serving as a primary point of contact for both clients and employees, responding to a wide array of HR-related inquiries through our dedicated ticketing system. You will be adept at managing escalations, providing timely and accurate resolutions, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction for all stakeholders.
  • • Staying ahead of the curve is paramount. You will actively monitor updates in local employment legislation across various jurisdictions, proactively ensuring global HR compliance and adapting our practices to meet evolving regulatory landscapes. This includes maintaining meticulous employee records within our HRIS, guaranteeing data integrity and confidentiality.
  • • You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing essential HR documentation, including employment contracts, addendums, and comprehensive hire guidelines. Accuracy and strict adherence to legal compliance will be your guiding principles in all documentation.
  • • Your role extends to updating and refining company policies to ensure they not only align with local regulations but also reflect best practices in global HR management, fostering a fair and equitable workplace.
  • • You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on statutory leave entitlements, country-specific HR practices, and cultural nuances that impact employment relations.
  • • Managing voluntary terminations will be a core duty, handled with professionalism and compliance. You will also provide crucial support in navigating involuntary terminations, working closely with local counsel when necessary to ensure all procedures are legally sound.
  • • A continuous drive for improvement will be encouraged. You will identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency within the global HR and EOR services, implementing process improvements that benefit clients and employees alike.
  • • You will foster strong working relationships with our international partners, in-country providers (ICPs), account managers, payroll specialists, and legal teams, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to global HR management.
  • • Coordinating immigration processes, liaising with external vendors and legal counsel, will be another important facet of your role, facilitating the smooth international mobility of employees.
  • • Beyond these core duties, you will be expected to undertake other HR-related tasks and contribute to various projects as assigned by leadership, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the team's overall success.
  • • In a marginal capacity, you will have the opportunity to participate in cross-functional projects that have a significant impact on our global HR operations or EOR service offerings, broadening your experience and influence.
  • • You may also support HR technology rollouts, contributing to testing, training development, and providing valuable feedback to enhance user experience and system functionality.
  • • Representing HR in client meetings, particularly concerning compliance and workforce matters, will allow you to showcase your expertise and build strong client relationships.
  • • Engaging in research on global HR practices, compensation trends, and labor market conditions will help inform our strategic decisions and maintain our competitive edge.
  • • You will contribute to the growth of the HR team by assisting in the onboarding and mentoring of new HR team members, sharing your knowledge and experience.
  • • Completing special projects as directed by leadership will provide opportunities to tackle unique challenges and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • • Finally, you will provide consultative services to clients, offering expert insights into specialist country requirements and helping them navigate complex international HR landscapes.
