- • As the Global Payroll Manager at RightCard Payments Limited (operating as LemFi), you will serve as the architect and engine of global payroll operations for a rapidly scaling fintech company serving the Global South. With over 400 employees across 20+ countries and processing over $1B in monthly transactions, your role is critical to ensuring every team member is paid accurately, on time, and in full compliance with local regulations—directly supporting the company’s mission to eliminate financial barriers for immigrants and underserved communities worldwide.

This includes leading the audit, review, and potential overhaul of existing payroll systems to drive automation, efficiency, and scalability as the company grows.
- • You will act as the global subject matter expert for payroll taxes, statutory filings, and year-end processes, managing both internal and external audits while ensuring 100% compliance across all jurisdictions. Your work will integrate seamlessly with People and Finance teams to align global benefits, compensation, and mobility initiatives into a unified payroll flow.
- • Day-to-day, you will balance hands-on payroll processing with strategic initiatives—standardizing multi-country processes, identifying automation opportunities, improving data security and quality controls, and partnering cross-functionally to enhance the employee experience.
- • You will thrive in a high-growth, mission-driven environment where your analytical rigor, proactive improvement mindset, and ability to translate complex payroll requirements into clear insights will directly impact operational excellence and employee trust.
- • This role offers the opportunity to lead transformative change in global payroll infrastructure at a purpose-led fintech scaling internationally, gaining deep exposure to multi-jurisdictional compliance, EOR management, and systems modernization—positioning you as a strategic leader in global payroll and finance operations.

- • Extensive experience managing multi-country payroll and benefits, specifically within the tech sector.
- • Deep technical knowledge of US and Canadian payroll regulations and tax compliance.
- • Hands-on proficiency with Deel (experience with Rippling is a significant bonus).
- • Proven experience auditing and changing payroll systems or providers at a global scale.
- • A solid understanding of payroll accounting and benefits administration across diverse jurisdictions.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting financial inclusion for immigrants and the Global South through a mission-driven fintech platform.
- • Work in a high-growth, Series B company with 400+ employees across 20+ countries, offering exposure to international operations and scalable systems.
- • Collaborative, values-driven culture emphasizing sharp customer focus, data-led decision-making, ownership, and grit.
- • Flexibility to balance hands-on execution with strategic project leadership in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equitable hiring—encouraging applicants from all backgrounds to apply even if they don’t meet every requirement.
