  • • Lead the development and execution of Dutch Vet’s social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter to drive brand awareness, engagement, and member growth.
  • • Create and manage a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal pet health trends while maintaining brand voice and compliance with veterinary regulations.
  • • Produce high-performing, platform-specific content—including short-form video, carousel posts, user-generated content campaigns, and live Q&As—that drives shares, views, and conversions.
  • • Collaborate with Growth, Brand, PR, and Content teams to ensure social media initiatives support overall business objectives, including reducing customer acquisition cost (CAC) and increasing retention.
  • • Analyze social media performance metrics (engagement rate, reach, click-through rate, conversion rate) to optimize content, allocate budget, and report on ROI to leadership.
  • • Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and platform algorithm changes to identify opportunities for innovation and improved performance.
  • • Engage directly with the community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, compassionate, and brand-aligned manner to build trust and loyalty.
  • • Partner with licensed veterinarians and veterinary content creators to develop authentic, educational, and emotionally resonant content that reinforces Dutch Vet’s credibility and mission.
  • • Ensure all social media content adheres to legal and regulatory guidelines for veterinary telemedicine, including proper disclaimers and medication promotion compliance.
  • • Manage relationships with influencers and micro-influencers in the pet care space to amplify reach and drive authentic advocacy.
  • • Optimize paid social advertising campaigns in coordination with the Growth team to target high-intent audiences and maximize campaign efficiency.
  • • Maintain brand consistency across all social channels by developing and enforcing visual and tonal guidelines for imagery, captions, hashtags, and formatting.
  • • Track and report on key performance indicators monthly, presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform future strategy.
  • • Stay up to date on pet industry news, consumer behavior shifts, and emerging social media tools to ensure Dutch Vet remains a leader in digital pet care communication.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Must reside in Canada or one of the following states: Tennessee, California, Illinois, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Washington
  • • Proven experience managing social media for a consumer-facing health or wellness brand
  • • Demonstrated ability to create and execute data-driven social media campaigns that drive engagement and conversions
  • • Strong understanding of veterinary telemedicine regulations and compliance requirements
  • • Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite)
  • • Portfolio showcasing successful content campaigns with measurable results
