- • Develop, test, maintain, and improve high-performance backend services using Golang, with a primary focus on the company’s billing system.
- • Architect, implement, and optimize microservices-based applications to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability across the product ecosystem.
- • Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and manage Golang applications in Kubernetes clusters using Helm for package management and orchestration.
- • Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas and queries using Postgres, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability for financial and user-facing systems.
- • Utilize Redis to enhance application performance through caching and session management, reducing latency and improving response times.
- • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions by developing and enhancing the billing system, including error handling, reconciliation, and audit trails.
- • Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold code quality, enforce best practices, and maintain adherence to established coding standards across the team.
- • Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and DevOps to translate requirements into robust, scalable software solutions.
- • Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, codebase, and operational processes to support knowledge transfer and team onboarding.
- • Ensure adequate unit test coverage for all developed services and actively participate in maintaining and updating the automated test suite.
- • Operate in a fully remote environment with a requirement to be located within ±4 hours of Central European Time (CET) to enable effective collaboration during core working hours.
- • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in backend development, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills when addressing complex technical challenges related to distributed systems, concurrency, and high-throughput transaction processing.
- • Communicate clearly and effectively in a remote, cross-functional team setting to align on priorities, escalate blockers, and deliver consistent results.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Golang developer with a proven track record of delivering scalable and robust backend solutions.
- • Expertise in Golang, including deep understanding of its concurrency model, standard libraries, and performance optimization techniques.
- • Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architectures.
- • Proficient in designing and optimizing databases with Postgres, including query performance tuning and transaction management.
- • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
- • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to resolve complex technical challenges.
