  • • As a Group Benefits Sales Representative, you will drive sales and retention of group insurance products for businesses with 2-1,999 employees, focusing on the 100-1,999 lives market, by building and maintaining strong broker and plan holder relationships.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities include marketing and selling Guardian’s full Group Benefits portfolio—including Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Absence, and Supplemental Health products—to designated brokers, supporting broker-client relationships for growth and retention, understanding territory dynamics to expand your book of business, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets through strategic planning and product expertise.
  • • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, represent Guardian as a thought leader in the community, identify and champion process improvements to boost sales, and maintain required industry licensing through ongoing continuing education.
  • • The role reports to a Market Leader within the assigned territory and offers the opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to Guardian’s mission of inspiring well-being through supportive, inclusive, and innovative benefits solutions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree (BS, BA) or equivalent industry experience
  • • Minimum of 4 years of group insurance sales experience, or a combination of Guardian work experience, education, and related activities
  • • Demonstrated knowledge of group insurance products and processes, including Worksite, LTD, Dental, complex absence products, online enrollment, experience rating, and dental network analysis
