  • • We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Group Director of Sales for our Eastern Region in the United States. This pivotal role is responsible for spearheading and scaling Ontic’s enterprise sales execution across this key territory. Reporting directly to the SVP of Sales, you will hold complete regional revenue accountability and provide direct leadership to a talented team of five Enterprise Account Executives. The Eastern Region team is strategically focused on driving 80% new logo acquisition and 20% expansion revenue within our existing enterprise accounts. Your mandate will encompass the entire sales lifecycle, from meticulous pipeline generation and strategic deal execution to ensuring impeccable forecasting accuracy and driving regional market development.
  • • This opportunity is tailor-made for a driven enterprise sales leader who possesses exceptional operational rigor, a profound coaching acumen, and an undeniable executive presence. You will be instrumental in setting the strategic direction for the region while maintaining deep engagement in critical deal execution and fostering seamless cross-functional alignment. Your leadership will be crucial in expanding Ontic's footprint and impact within the Eastern United States.
  • • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Regional Revenue Leadership: Take full ownership of achieving and exceeding regional revenue targets, encompassing both new logo acquisition and expansion revenue streams. You will be the driving force behind consistent execution of our enterprise sales methodology across your team of five Enterprise Account Executives, ensuring best practices are adopted and adhered to.
  • • Pipeline Management and Forecasting: Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene, ensuring the accuracy of sales forecasts and providing clear, performance-driven reporting. Your ability to predict and manage revenue will be critical to our success.
  • • Strategic Account Engagement: Personally engage in strategic accounts and high-value opportunities to accelerate deal progression, overcome obstacles, and significantly improve win rates. You will act as a senior advisor and closer on key deals.
  • • Performance Standards and Best Practices: Partner closely with the SVP of Sales to establish key performance metrics, define stringent performance standards, and implement best practices that facilitate scalable and sustainable growth across the region.
  • • Regional Representation: Serve as a key representative of Ontic within the Eastern Region, engaging in executive meetings, participating in crucial industry events, and cultivating strategic partnerships that enhance our market presence and credibility.
  • • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with the Marketing team to optimize regional demand generation initiatives and enhance field engagement strategies. Collaborate effectively with Sales Consultants, Customer Success Managers, and Product teams to refine deal strategies, ensure customer success, and drive optimal customer outcomes.
  • • Operational Alignment: Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Operations departments to guarantee compliance, optimize efficiency, and ensure seamless alignment in all regional deal execution processes.
  • • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of five Enterprise Account Executives. Foster a strong, inclusive, and performance-driven culture that embodies Ontic’s core values and promotes collaboration and accountability.
  • • Capability Building: Provide structured mentorship and guidance to develop the capabilities, accountability, and collaborative spirit of your sales team, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
  • • Market Development: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities within the Eastern Region, contributing to Ontic's overall strategic growth objectives.
  • • Strategic Vision Translation: Translate Ontic's strategic vision into measurable results through effective regional planning and execution.
