- • Lead all aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across multiple legal entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- • Prepare consolidated group management accounts and high-impact board reporting packs aligned with investor and lender expectations
- • Own and enforce accurate revenue recognition practices in compliance with SaaS accounting standards and IFRS
- • Manage statutory reporting, external audits, and year-end accounts across international jurisdictions
- • Design, implement, and continuously improve robust financial controls, policies, and compliance frameworks to mitigate risk
- • Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and liquidity reporting to support strategic decision-making
- • Lead multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting, resolving complex reconciliation and allocation issues
- • Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, VAT, corporation tax, and R&D tax credit claims across all operating regions
- • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to maintain audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- • Drive the modernization of finance systems, automating reporting workflows and improving data accuracy across finance and RevOps functions
- • Partner with commercial teams to enhance contract management, data integrity, and revenue process alignment
- • Scale finance infrastructure to support rapid international expansion and prepare for future funding events
- • Standardize financial processes across entities to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability
- • Act as a strategic business partner to the VP of Finance, CEO, and department heads, translating financial data into actionable commercial insights
- • Maintain advanced proficiency in financial systems such as NetSuite and Campfire, leveraging technology to drive operational improvements
- • Communicate complex financial information clearly and persuasively to non-finance stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- • Support PE/VC-backed business requirements including investor reporting, fundraising preparation, and financial due diligence
- • Operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels, balancing high-level governance with hands-on execution of day-to-day finance operations
🎯 Requirements
- • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- • Significant experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
- • Background in SaaS, technology, or high-growth startup environments
- • Strong technical accounting and group consolidation experience
- • Proven experience managing audits and multi-entity structures
- • Deep understanding of SaaS revenue recognition and subscription business models
