- • Own the end-to-end technology landscape of a fast-growing, values-driven hospitality group that is redefining luxury as freedom from stress and environmental harm. You will be the single point of accountability for every byte of data, every device, and every cloud service that keeps Aethos running smoothly across Administration, Accounting, HR, Legal, and Operations.
- • Architect, harden, and continuously monitor a security-first environment that meets or exceeds GDPR and PCI-DSS standards. You will design incident-response playbooks, run quarterly penetration tests, and translate complex risk reports into plain-English briefings for the CEO and department heads.
- • Select, configure, and roll out business-critical SaaS tools with zero downtime and maximum user adoption. Past examples include migrating the finance team to a new ERP, integrating an HRIS with Google Workspace, and deploying a legal-contract repository that cut approval cycles by 40 %.
- • Manage the full lifecycle of our cloud infrastructure—Google Workspace, AWS or Azure resources, guest Wi-Fi controllers, MDM for laptops and mobiles, and network gear across multiple properties. Automate patching, backups, and access reviews so the team can focus on guests, not tickets.
- • Act as the trusted technology partner to every department. Run discovery workshops, translate wish-lists into user stories, and deliver hands-on training that turns skeptics into power users. You will create living documentation in Notion or Confluence so knowledge never walks out the door.
- • Own the IT budget from forecasting to purchase-order to renewal negotiation. Track license utilization, identify cost-saving consolidations, and present ROI dashboards that show how every euro spent either reduces risk or accelerates revenue.
- • Champion sustainability in tech choices—favoring energy-efficient data centers, hardware buy-back programs, and paperless workflows that align with Aethos’ environmental commitments.
- • Provide calm, clear support during high-stakes moments—whether it’s a late-night security alert, a CFO locked out before a board meeting, or a new property launch that needs connectivity in 48 hours. Your composure becomes the team’s confidence.
- • Build the foundation for future hospitality innovations: guest-facing mobile apps, IoT room controls, and AI-driven personalization. Today you keep the lights on; tomorrow you enable magic.
- • Report weekly to the CEO with concise, data-driven updates: system health KPIs, open risks, project milestones, and next-week priorities. Your narrative turns technical metrics into strategic insight.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2–5 years hands-on IT operations experience in a startup or lean team where you were the primary (or only) technical owner
- • Proven track record implementing and administering Google Workspace and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- • Demonstrated success selecting, deploying, and supporting business software in two or more of these domains: accounting, HR, legal, or hospitality operations
- • Solid grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals: patch management, identity & access control, phishing defense, backup & disaster recovery, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- • Excellent written and spoken English; additional European language is a plus
- • Eligible to work in the EU, UK, or Switzerland without visa sponsorship
