📋 Description

• As a Group Leader at BeOne Institute, you will lead a high-performing research team to advance breakthrough discoveries in cancer biology and related fields, setting and executing a forward-looking research strategy aligned with BeiGene’s mission to transform uncertainty into actionable therapeutic opportunities.
• Day to day, you will drive scientific excellence by establishing clear program goals and milestones, communicate progress through regular updates while proactively identifying challenges and proposing solutions, build and develop a high-performing team by fostering professional growth and technical expertise, and lead cross-disciplinary collaborations to drive innovation within and beyond the Institute.
• BeOne Institute operates as BeiGene’s dedicated innovation engine, guided by three core principles: Bold Exploration through rapid iterative innovation cycles, Strategic Alignment with BeiGene’s R&D priorities and long-term vision, and Pipeline Impact by translating insights into tangible assets and advancing emerging platforms into impactful programs.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cancer biology, immunology, or protein engineering, strengthen your scientific leadership and mentorship capabilities, expand your ability to integrate multi-disciplinary approaches to solve complex biological problems, and contribute directly to the development of transformative medicines that improve patient outcomes globally.

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent advanced degree with deep expertise in cancer biology, cancer immunology, immunology, protein engineering, AI-driven protein design, or a related life sciences discipline
• Substantial post-degree professional experience in academia and/or industry with a strong track record of contributions to drug discovery or impactful scientific achievements
• Ability to operate effectively in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and interdisciplinary research environment, integrating multi-disciplinary approaches to solve complex biological problems
• Scientific leadership to build and sustain collaborative relationships across functional and disciplinary boundaries
• Experience providing scientific guidance and mentorship in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
