- • Sr Associate - Accounting Advisory at Riveron Consulting, LLC is a pivotal role supporting clients navigating complex financial reporting, regulatory changes, and business transformations such as IPOs, acquisitions, divestitures, and internal control redesigns—where deep technical accounting expertise directly enables client success and scalability.
- • The role involves applying US GAAP and IFRS knowledge to solve real-world accounting challenges, partnering closely with client management and Riveron project teams to deliver tailored, actionable solutions that improve financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- • Day to day, you will: conduct in-depth research and analysis on complex accounting issues under US GAAP and IFRS; develop memos, technical analyses, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables; advise clients on financial reporting implications of business combinations, carve-outs, capital market transactions, and audit readiness; collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional team members to execute workstreams and meet project deadlines; provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members on technical accounting concepts and deliverable quality; and participate in internal initiatives such as training, recruiting, and firm events to support professional growth and firm culture.
- • You will partner directly with clients ranging from global multinationals to high-growth private entities, acting as a trusted advisor who translates complex accounting standards into practical business solutions while building strong, long-term relationships.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in technical accounting, financial reporting, and transactional accounting while gaining exposure to high-stakes projects such as IPO readiness, SEC reporting, internal controls redesign, and post-merger integration—positioning you for advancement into senior advisory or leadership roles within Riveron or the broader accounting and finance industry.
- • You will sharpen your ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly in writing and verbally, build executive presence, and develop consulting skills such as stakeholder management, project execution, and solution-oriented problem solving in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field of study
- • Minimum 4 years of experience in audit and/or industry accounting roles
- • Working knowledge of accounting standards including US GAAP, GAAS, and/or IFRS
- • Proven experience conducting accounting research and producing written analyses, memos, and technical documentation
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and apply accounting principles to real-world scenarios
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for developing client-facing deliverables and presenting findings to stakeholders
