Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the entire expansion lifecycle for Atomi’s existing Queensland school partners—from first warm conversation to signed multi-year renewal—while living our mission of unlocking human potential through better learning.
- • Run a disciplined outbound motion: map every faculty and campus inside your territory, craft hyper-relevant messaging, and open new revenue conversations with department heads, deputies, and principals who already trust the Atomi brand.
- • Deliver high-impact product demonstrations that translate curriculum pain-points into measurable student engagement gains, using real-time data from the school’s own cohort to prove ROI before a contract is signed.
- • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with Customer Success Managers to multithread accounts; co-design success plans that turn one-subject licences into whole-school rollouts and single-campus deals into multi-campus agreements.
- • Build and rigorously manage a rolling 12-month pipeline; forecast weekly with 95 % accuracy, negotiate pricing that protects ACV while accelerating adoption, and close expansion deals that compound revenue growth quarter after quarter.
- • Translate frontline insights into actionable feedback for Sales, Product, and Marketing; surface feature gaps, pricing objections, and competitive threats so the entire GTM engine can iterate faster than any EdTech competitor.
- • Champion Atomi’s culture in every interaction—model curiosity, humility, and a relentless focus on quality so that educators feel they are joining a movement, not buying software.
- • Contribute to team rituals: peer deal reviews, call-listening sessions, and quarterly QLD roadshows where we bring teachers together to share best practice and celebrate collective impact.
- • Maintain pristine CRM hygiene; every email, call, and stakeholder note is logged so that institutional knowledge scales beyond any one person and compliance with Department procurement standards is effortless.
- • Experiment with new growth tactics—vertical webinars, TikTok-style teacher tips, micro-pilot programs—and share what works across the global Sales org so that Queensland becomes the playbook every region copies.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of quota-carrying SaaS or tech solution sales with a verifiable record of hitting ≥100 % of expansion or new-business targets.
- • Demonstrated ability to prospect within existing accounts and execute "land-and-expand" strategies that grow ARR year over year.
- • Exceptional communication skills—can explain complex pedagogical or technical concepts in simple, persuasive language to educators and executives alike.
- • Growth mindset: actively seeks feedback, iterates quickly, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.
- • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to drive commercial outcomes.
- • Nice-to-have: prior experience in EdTech or selling into K-12 or tertiary institutions.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Tailored flexibility—set your own hours around study, family, or personal commitments while staying accountable to results.
- • 14 weeks paid parental leave for all new parents, plus additional leave for birthing parents.
- • Work from anywhere in Queensland (or Australia) with a remote-first setup and budget for home-office gear.
- • Free Atomi access for you and your immediate family so you can experience the product you sell.
- • Regular social events—both virtual trivia nights and in-person team sports competitions—designed to keep culture alive across distances.
