• • Own the full-funnel growth strategy for Japan—craft localized campaigns, partnerships, and community programs that turn sophisticated crypto investors, traders, and institutions into loyal Nansen power-users.
• • Translate complex on-chain analytics into culturally-relevant narratives; write, review, and optimize Japanese-language content (blog posts, Twitter threads, YouTube scripts, AMA talking points) that demystifies wallet labeling, smart-money flows, and token-gated dashboards.
• • Build and nurture a thriving ecosystem of Japanese KOLs, trading communities, DeFi protocols, and institutional desks; negotiate co-marketing deals, joint webinars, and exclusive data drops that position Nansen as the default intelligence layer for the region.
• • Run rigorous A/B experiments across paid, earned, and owned channels—LINE ads, Twitter Spaces, Discord stages, Substack newsletters, and local podcasts—then iterate rapidly based on cohort retention, CAC:LTV, and wallet-connect conversion metrics.
• • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to surface Japan-specific feature requests (e.g., localized tax reporting, JPY-denominated dashboards, NFT marketplace integrations) and shepherd them through the roadmap with clear business cases and revenue impact.
• • Represent Nansen at Tokyo, Osaka, and regional crypto conferences; deliver keynote talks, panel discussions, and live product demos that generate pipeline and strengthen brand authority among builders, VCs, and regulators.
• • Establish and track OKRs for user acquisition, activation, and expansion revenue; present weekly growth dashboards to executive leadership, highlighting leading indicators (wait-list sign-ups, Discord engagement, trial-to-paid conversion) and recommending budget re-allocations.
• • Hire, mentor, and manage a cross-functional Japan growth squad—community managers, content creators, data analysts, and partnership leads—while fostering a culture of experimentation, psychological safety, and data-driven decision making.
• • Monitor regulatory developments (JVCEA, FSA guidelines, travel-rule nuances) and work closely with Legal & Compliance to ensure all campaigns, landing pages, and user flows meet local requirements without stifling creativity or speed.
• • Leverage Nansen’s proprietary APIs and on-chain datasets to craft exclusive market insights—whale movements, DEX arbitrage patterns, NFT floor sweeps—that become headline stories in CoinPost, Bloomberg Japan, and mainstream financial media.
• • Design referral and ambassador programs that reward power-users with early-access features, custom labels, and revenue-share incentives, turning the most active Japanese wallets into viral growth engines.
• • Partner with Customer Success to reduce churn among institutional clients (hedge funds, prop-trading firms, venture DAOs) by delivering quarterly business reviews, bespoke training sessions, and white-glove onboarding that showcase ROI via saved research hours and alpha generation.
• • Continuously benchmark against regional competitors (Glassnode JP, Messari Asia, Chainalysis Japan) and global equivalents, distilling best practices into playbooks that keep Nansen three steps ahead in narrative, UX, and data depth.
• • Champion a feedback loop between Japanese users and global HQ; translate qualitative insights from Telegram groups, Discord DMs, and support tickets into actionable product specs that improve retention and NPS across all markets.
