As the Growth Marketer, you will be instrumental in driving the exponential growth of our proprietary iOS app, WeSponsored, which connects brands with influencers to boost product launches and online sales.

  • Currently, our user acquisition is predominantly organic and email-driven. This presents a significant opportunity for a Growth Marketer to build and scale a robust acquisition engine from the ground up. You will be entrusted with the ownership of user acquisition strategy and execution. This involves identifying high-potential channels, implementing campaigns, meticulously analyzing performance data, and iterating rapidly to optimize results. Your primary focus will be on driving a high volume of quality users into the WeSponsored app, ensuring they not only download but also convert and remain engaged.
  • This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role where you will be directly involved in setting up and managing campaigns, crafting compelling ad copy, analyzing intricate performance data, and making swift, data-informed decisions. We are seeking a candidate who has a proven track record in this domain and can operate with a high degree of autonomy and speed, requiring minimal supervision. Your ability to move quickly and efficiently without a predefined playbook will be critical to your success.
  • Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of growth marketing activities. You will develop and execute channel strategies, rigorously testing and scaling both paid and organic acquisition channels. This includes, but is not limited to, paid social media campaigns (Meta, TikTok, etc.), strategic influencer partnerships, comprehensive content marketing initiatives, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and App Store Optimization (ASO), designing and implementing effective referral programs, fostering community growth, and executing targeted email outreach.
  • A key aspect of your role will be to develop compelling creative assets and messaging that deeply resonate with our target audience of influencers and creators. You will need to understand their motivations, pain points, and how they discover new tools and platforms. This includes crafting engaging ad copy, designing effective landing pages, and ensuring all communication aligns with the WeSponsored brand and value proposition.
  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of campaigns, meticulously monitoring their performance, and optimizing them across all channels with a sharp focus on Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) efficiency and achieving target volumes. Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in designing and launching innovative referral programs and other viral mechanisms aimed at transforming our existing user base into a powerful acquisition channel.
  • Optimizing our App Store presence through ASO will be crucial for maximizing organic discovery and conversion rates. You will also be tasked with tracking channel performance, building sophisticated attribution models, and reporting on key acquisition metrics such as CAC, install-to-signup rates, and channel mix. This data will inform strategic decisions and guide future growth initiatives.
  • Collaboration will be essential. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure a seamless user journey from acquisition to activation. You will also be responsible for identifying and flagging any funnel issues that require product-level solutions, ensuring a cohesive and optimized user experience.

🎯 Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in user acquisition for consumer mobile apps, with a preference for experience in marketplace, creator economy, or social platform environments.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling paid acquisition campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Google, with demonstrable results and a deep understanding of campaign metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, build attribution models, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance and CAC.
  • Excellent copywriting and creative thinking abilities, capable of developing compelling ad copy, briefing designers, and understanding what captures audience attention.
  • Familiarity with the influencer and creator ecosystem, understanding creator motivations and discovery behaviors.
  • A scrappy, self-directed mindset with the ability to operate independently, test new strategies, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
