- • As the Growth Operations Lead at Firecrawl Inc., you will serve as the operational backbone of the company’s growth engine, ensuring seamless execution of billing, revenue visibility, compliance, and procurement processes that enable scalable enterprise deals and sustainable revenue growth. Your work directly impacts financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer trust by preventing revenue leakage and enabling data-driven decision-making across leadership.
- • Day to day, you will own the end-to-end billing lifecycle — including invoicing, collections, subscription management, credits, refunds, and dispute resolution — ensuring customers are billed correctly and on time, every time, with zero tolerance for errors or delays.
- • You will build and maintain trusted revenue dashboards from raw data sources, providing real-time visibility into revenue, usage, churn, and expansion metrics so that founders and leaders can answer critical financial questions in under five minutes.
- • You will manage procurement and vendor operations by overseeing subscriptions, contracts, and renewals, proactively identifying wasteful spend, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring cost discipline aligns with the startup’s agile growth model.
- • You will own day-to-day operational compliance for SOC 2, GDPR, and similar frameworks — handling questionnaires, audit preparation, documentation, and vendor security reviews — keeping the company audit-ready without building programs from scratch.
- • You will support enterprise deal execution by managing the operational handoff between sales and fulfillment, including security reviews, custom billing arrangements, procurement paperwork, and compliance documentation that bridge the gap between verbal commitment and signed contract.
- • You will leverage AI tools like Claude, n8n, or similar to automate repetitive operational tasks — such as reporting, questionnaire responses, and workflow triggers — treating every manual process as an opportunity to increase output and reduce cognitive load.
- • You will collaborate closely with finance, engineering, and sales teams to align operational processes with product usage data and pricing models, particularly in usage-based SaaS environments where billing complexity scales rapidly.
- • You will continuously improve operational systems by designing or refining internal tools (e.g., Notion boards, spreadsheets, or custom scripts) that increase reliability, reduce toil, and create self-service visibility for stakeholders.
- • You will operate with extreme ownership and urgency, anticipating risks before they surface — such as catching contract discrepancies or billing misconfigurations — and acting decisively to prevent financial or reputational harm.
- • You will contribute to a high-velocity, technical culture where speed, precision, and systems thinking are valued over bureaucracy, and where your ability to ship operational improvements directly impacts the company’s ability to scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of hands-on experience in revenue operations, billing operations, or growth operations at a SaaS or usage-based company, with proven ownership of invoicing, collections, subscription management, or procurement.
- • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain revenue dashboards from raw data using SQL, spreadsheets, or BI tools — transforming disparate data sources into trusted, actionable insights used by leadership for decision-making.
- • Direct experience operating compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or GDPR at the tactical level — managing audit requests, documentation, vendor reviews, and control execution — not as a consultant, but as the person ensuring day-to-day readiness.
- • Proficiency with AI automation tools (e.g., Claude, n8n, Zapier, or similar) to streamline repetitive operational workflows such as reporting, questionnaire responses, or task routing.
- • Experience supporting enterprise deal execution, including managing security reviews, custom billing arrangements, procurement documentation, and compliance handoffs between sales and legal/finance teams.
- • Strong bias for action and systems thinking — you rely on personal systems (e.g., Notion, spreadsheets, custom scripts) to ensure nothing falls through the cracks, and you are trusted by others to deliver on commitments without oversight.
