Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a GTM AI Engineer at TigerData Inc., you will play a pivotal role in transforming how go-to-market teams operate by identifying inefficiencies across Sales, Marketing, and RevOps and proactively building AI-powered solutions to fix them. This is not a theoretical or research-focused role — you will be expected to ship working tools, automations, and MVPs that deliver tangible business impact, such as time saved, pipeline generated, or process improvements, working directly with GTM leaders to prioritize high-leverage opportunities.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: identifying bottlenecks in GTM workflows (e.g., lead enrichment, outbound personalization, CRM routing); rapidly prototyping and shipping AI-driven workflows and internal tools using LLMs, APIs, and agentic coding tools like Claude Code; experimenting with new AI technologies and integrating the most effective ones into company processes; partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Ops teams to deeply understand problems and build solutions that are actually adopted; acting as an internal thought leader on AI’s potential to transform GTM motion; and ensuring that everything you build ships and gets used — not left as unused prototypes.
- • TigerData is a globally distributed, remote-first company formerly known as Timescale, dedicated to building the fastest PostgreSQL platform for transactional, analytical, and agentic workloads. Trusted by over 2,000 customers across 25+ countries and powering more than 3 million active databases, the company combines deep technical excellence with a culture of curiosity, direct communication, and accountability. As a remote-first team with a strong preference for candidates in Pittsburgh or similar US markets, TigerData values builders who thrive in ambiguity, default to action, and are motivated by solving real business problems through experimentation and ownership.
- • In this role, you will develop rare, high-impact skills at the intersection of AI engineering and GTM operations — learning how to apply cutting-edge AI tools to real-world business challenges, gaining deep exposure to Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, and other GTM systems, and becoming a trusted internal advisor on AI adoption. You’ll sharpen your ability to learn quickly, ship scrappy MVPs, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and measure impact through metrics like time saved or pipeline acceleration — positioning yourself as a versatile builder who can bridge technical and business domains in fast-moving environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Hands-on experience building with LLMs, APIs, AI agents, or automation tools, with a track record of shipping real-world workflows, tools, or side projects that have been used in practice.
- • Proficiency in writing code or working with APIs using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, or the ability to ramp up quickly.
- • Familiarity with GTM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, or equivalent platforms, or a demonstrated ability to learn them rapidly.
- • Strong bias toward action: preference for shipping scrappy MVPs today over prolonged planning or debate.
- • Proven ability to teach yourself new technical concepts quickly and apply them immediately to solve problems.
- • Comfort working in ambiguous environments without a defined roadmap, driven by curiosity and experimentation.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote work opportunities with flexibility to work from anywhere globally.
- • Flexible PTO and comprehensive family leave policies to support work-life balance.
- • Monthly WiFi stipend to support your home office setup.
- • Premium insurance options for you and your family (for US-based employees).
- • Stock options for long-term growth and ownership in the company’s success.
- • Professional development and educational resources to support continuous learning and skill growth.
