- • As the GTM Compensation Lead at Supabase, you will serve as the central owner of the commission lifecycle, ensuring accurate, timely, and controlled execution of variable compensation across the global go-to-market organization while maintaining financial integrity and audit readiness.
- • You will own the end-to-end quarterly commission calculation process for all GTM roles, translating compensation plans into structured, auditable logic, validating quotas, attainment, accelerators, SPIFFs, clawbacks, and adjustments, and ensuring on-schedule completion with high accuracy and clear documentation of methodologies and assumptions.
- • You will partner with Finance to manage quarterly commission accruals and true-ups, support forecasting of variable compensation expense, build and maintain strong internal controls around compensation calculations, ensure audit-ready documentation, and maintain version control of compensation plans and payout models.
- • You will collaborate cross-functionally with RevOps on quota setting and CRM data integrity, with Sales Leadership on payout clarity and plan alignment, and with People/HR to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, managing review cycles and obtaining formal sign-offs prior to payroll submission.
- • You will identify opportunities to automate processes and reduce manual risk, evaluate and improve compensation tooling as the organization scales, and enhance commission forecasting visibility and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- • You will join a fully remote, globally distributed team of 280+ members across 55+ countries, operating with high ownership, strong documentation, and asynchronous collaboration, where you’ll contribute to a company that has raised $500M and serves over 500,000 community members through its open-source Postgres development platform.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in SaaS GTM compensation mechanics, financial controls, and cross-functional stakeholder management, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor on variable compensation strategy while gaining exposure to high-growth SaaS finance operations at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8-10 years of experience in Sales/GTM Compensation, Finance, or RevOps with proven ownership of quarterly commission cycles end-to-end
- • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets expertise with expert-level modeling capabilities and strong understanding of SaaS GTM metrics (ARR, ACV, bookings, expansions, churn)
- • Experience partnering closely with Sales, Finance, and Payroll teams in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment, building scalable, well-documented processes with strong financial controls
