  • • As the founding GTM Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in engineering and scaling the critical systems, data infrastructure, and automation that underpin Zip's go-to-market engine. This is a unique opportunity to be the first dedicated individual in this function, ensuring Zip's go-to-market operations are world-class, particularly in leveraging AI.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to own and optimize the GTM workflows, tools, and data connections that drive prospecting efficiency and scale across the Sales and Business Development Representative (BDR) organizations. You will architect and implement the technical foundation designed to make the revenue team faster, smarter, and more effective, aiming for transformational AI-driven productivity gains rather than incremental improvements.
  • • This role offers a rare chance to define a new discipline within Zip, operating with a high degree of autonomy. You will collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing Operations, Business Systems, and Sales Leadership to translate complex business challenges into elegant, automated solutions. If you excel at the intersection of go-to-market strategy, systems design, and hands-on execution, this position is ideal for you.
  • • Key responsibilities include building the GTM automation engine by designing scalable, high-velocity workflows that enhance rep efficiency, reduce friction, and accelerate pipeline generation. You will leverage tools like Clay and n8n to construct event-based workflows for data enrichment, account routing, and scaled, personalized outreach.
  • • You will operationalize AI and data enrichment by partnering with GTM Ops and Business Systems teams to evaluate and implement cutting-edge AI and enrichment tools. This will involve leveraging data from a variety of sources including Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and Clay to improve outbound campaign quality and personalization.
  • • As the product owner for the GTM technology stack, you will manage requirements, prioritization, and system rollouts for all GTM tools. This involves translating intricate business needs into precise technical specifications and overseeing their successful delivery.
  • • Measuring and optimizing GTM performance is crucial. You will define and track key metrics related to sales productivity, funnel velocity, and automation ROI, developing dashboards and data models to ensure performance is visible and actionable.
  • • Collaboration with GTM Ops and Business Systems teams is essential to maintain data consistency, refine routing logic, and ensure attribution accuracy across all GTM systems.
  • • You will be encouraged to innovate and experiment, piloting new tools, integrations, and AI-driven workflows. This involves staying ahead of the curve in RevOps technology, testing emerging solutions, and scaling those that demonstrate significant value.
