đź“‹ Description
- • Sardine Inc. is a leading innovator in fraud prevention and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, empowering over 300 banks, retailers, and fintechs globally to combat identity fraud, payment fraud, account takeovers, and social engineering scams. Leveraging advanced device intelligence, behavior biometrics, machine learning, and AI, Sardine proactively stops fraud before it impacts businesses and their customers. With a significant funding of $145M from prominent investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Activant, Visa, Experian, FIS, and Google Ventures, Sardine is at the forefront of financial security technology.
- • We foster a remote-first work culture, embracing flexibility and autonomy. While we have physical hubs in the Bay Area, NYC, Austin, Toronto, and São Paulo, our commitment to a globally distributed team means you can work from your most productive environment, whether that's your home, a cafe, or a beach. Our culture is built on hiring talented, self-motivated individuals who exhibit extreme ownership and a high growth orientation. We prioritize performance and results over arbitrary work hours, understanding the importance of work-life balance and personal commitments.
- • As the inaugural GTM Engineer at Sardine Inc., you will play a pivotal role in architecting and building the technical foundation of our commercial operations. This is not merely a tool management position; you will be instrumental in constructing the automated systems that drive our entire customer lifecycle, from initial engagement through to long-term retention and expansion. Your primary mission is to serve as the critical link between high-level business objectives and their technical implementation, ensuring our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy is executed seamlessly and programmatically.
- • This is a high-impact, "full-stack" operations role that demands a rigorous approach to internal systems, akin to managing a production-level product. You will be responsible for the system architecture, data integrity, and the development of automated workflows that enhance efficiency and scalability across our GTM functions. You will act as the central technical connector, facilitating communication and integration between Sales, Post-Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams, thereby translating our GTM strategy into a robust, automated reality.
- • Key responsibilities include owning the technical roadmap for our GTM technology stack, encompassing CRM, Marketing Automation, CPQ, and other critical platforms. You will ensure these tools are seamlessly integrated into a cohesive, scalable, and efficient ecosystem. A significant part of your role will involve identifying and eliminating manual bottlenecks within the lead-to-cash lifecycle by engineering automated solutions. This will reduce "human-in-the-loop" friction, accelerate team velocity, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- • You will design and maintain robust data pipelines that ensure accurate and consistent data flow between disparate GTM tools. This is crucial for establishing a single source of truth for revenue reporting and enabling data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, you will partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to operationalize new features and pricing models within our internal systems, ensuring they are technically supported, accurately configured, and ready for billing.
- • The role also involves building the comprehensive infrastructure for the entire customer journey. This includes developing automated systems for lead routing and scoring, as well as engineering programmatic workflows for customer renewals and expansions. You will serve as the primary administrator for core GTM platforms, applying principles of "configuration as code" to manage permissions, environment deployments, and technical debt within our stack. Finally, you will develop advanced performance dashboards by translating raw system data into actionable insights on sales velocity, conversion health, and platform adoption, providing critical visibility into GTM effectiveness.
