- • As the GTM Marketing Strategist, you will be the driving force behind the product's market entry and sustained growth. Your primary mission will be to craft and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that establishes strong brand positioning, drives significant user acquisition, and builds widespread brand recognition. You will operate with a strategic mindset, focusing on creative and unconventional approaches to reach and engage the target audience, while also being prepared to roll up your sleeves and execute campaigns directly.
- • Your responsibilities will span the full spectrum of marketing strategy and execution. You will be instrumental in defining the product's core positioning and messaging, ensuring it resonates deeply with music and entertainment enthusiasts. This involves identifying and rigorously testing a diverse range of marketing channels, moving beyond traditional paid advertising to explore innovative and emerging platforms. You will leverage current live channels such as TikTok, Reddit, and Meta, while also proactively seeking out new avenues for user acquisition.
- • A key aspect of this role is your ability to translate strategic vision into tangible creative concepts. You will conceptualize campaign angles and creative briefs that will be brought to life by the design and content teams. - • As the product gains traction and the marketing function matures, your role will evolve towards strategic leadership and team oversight. As the workload increases and the business scales, you will be responsible for hiring and onboarding additional team members, building a high-performing marketing department.
- • Financial stewardship is also a critical component of this role. You will manage a monthly marketing budget of approximately $5,000, making strategic allocation decisions to maximize reach and impact across various channels. The primary success metric will be driving user acquisition, encompassing app signups and sustained user engagement. Your ultimate goal is to build a robust and scalable user acquisition engine that supports the long-term growth trajectory of the app.
