GTM Operator

📋 Description

• • As one of the first GTM hires at Tolken, you will play a foundational role in shaping how the company reaches its market, working directly with founders to build scalable go-to-market systems from the ground up. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to generate qualified pipeline, improve sales efficiency, and accelerate founder-led selling in the competitive fintech and payments space.
• • Day to day, you will build and maintain prospecting systems using tools like Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern automation platforms to ensure consistent lead generation and tracking. You will own CRM hygiene and the GTM tracker as a single source of truth, logging all lead sources—including outbound, inbound, introductions, and conference interactions—and ensuring each has clear next steps and timely follow-up.
• • You will capture and organize key founder interactions, prepare detailed meeting briefs with company context and prior conversation history, manage calendars and sequencing across active conversations, and coordinate logistics for in-person GTM activities such as conferences, client meetings, and travel.
• • You will create and maintain essential sales enablement assets including 2-pagers, ideal customer profile (ICP) definitions, and market maps, while codifying learned insights into a living GTM playbook that includes talk tracks, objection handling, and qualification flows based on real market feedback.
• • You will operate the founder’s LinkedIn presence from a logistics standpoint—managing posting cadence, routing inbound messages, and ensuring timely follow-ups—while identifying patterns in conversations and content to surface actionable insights back into GTM strategy and product development.
• • You will continuously improve throughput and data quality by leveraging systems and automation rather than manual effort, ensuring no lead or follow-up falls through the cracks and that founder selling time becomes increasingly effective and compounding over time.
• • Tolken is an early-stage fintech startup building innovative solutions in the payments space, and as a founding GTM operator, you will join a small, high-impact team where ownership, initiative, and systems thinking are valued above tenure or title. You’ll work in a remote-first environment with direct access to founders, enabling rapid learning and influence.
• • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in modern GTM operations, automation workflows, and sales enablement at an early-stage startup, gaining hands-on experience in building repeatable sales processes, managing founder-facing activities, and translating market signals into strategic action—accelerating your growth as a GTM operator and systems thinker in high-velocity environments.
