- • As a GTM Partnerships Manager for Airwallex in Canada, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the company’s market presence by building and managing strategic partnerships that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in the Canadian SME segment. This role is central to Airwallex’s expansion strategy, where you will transform partnership initiatives into a predictable, high-impact growth channel by aligning with sales, marketing, and product teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- • You will own the full partnership lifecycle—from identifying and qualifying new opportunities in priority verticals such as ecommerce, tech, travel, and professional services, to onboarding, activating, and nurturing long-term partner relationships. Your day-to-day will involve developing joint go-to-market plans, co-creating campaigns and events, driving partner-sourced pipeline, and ensuring seamless cross-functional execution to deliver exceptional partner experiences. You will also engage directly with partner executives and stakeholders to align on commercial goals and unlock mutual value.

The team is entrepreneurial, data-driven, and deeply committed to building scalable partner ecosystems that amplify brand reach and accelerate market penetration. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product, and strategy teams to ensure partnerships are not only activated but optimized for sustained revenue contribution.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in fintech partnership strategy, cross-functional GTM execution, and partner-led revenue modeling. You’ll gain hands-on experience structuring API-led and commercial partnerships, negotiating complex agreements, and leveraging data to measure partnership ROI—positioning yourself for leadership roles in global partnerships, business development, or GTM strategy within high-growth technology companies.

- • Proven ability to own relationships and drive commercial outcomes through partnership initiatives
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly with internal and external stakeholders
- • Highly analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, comfort operating in ambiguity, and experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- • Experience in fintech, payments, or high-growth startup environments (preferred)
- • Existing professional network in Canada within key verticals including ecommerce, tech, travel, or professional services (preferred)
🏖️ Benefits
- • Hybrid work model based in Toronto, offering flexibility and access to Airwallex’s modern office environment
- • Opportunity to work with a globally recognized fintech leader valued at US$8 billion, backed by top-tier investors including Visa, Mastercard, Sequoia, and Salesforce Ventures
- • Exposure to cutting-edge financial technology and the chance to contribute to the future of global payments and embedded finance
- • Career growth potential within a rapidly scaling global organization with over 2,000 employees across 26 offices
- • Inclusive, mission-driven culture that values founder-like energy, curiosity, and ownership, with access to operating principles that guide decision-making
- • Support for professional development and the chance to work alongside exceptional teammates tackling high-visibility, complex problems
