  • • As a GTM Recruiter for EMEA at OpenAI, you will serve as a strategic talent partner responsible for shaping how the company attracts, assesses, and hires top-tier Go-to-Market talent across Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Technical Solutions in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role is critical to scaling OpenAI’s commercial impact by ensuring the right people are in place to bring transformative AI products to global customers and partners.
  • • You will own end-to-end recruitment cycles for GTM roles, from initial role scoping and calibration with hiring managers through to offer negotiation and candidate closure, ensuring each search aligns with business priorities and maintains OpenAI’s high bar for talent quality and cultural fit.
  • • Day-to-day, you will partner closely with senior business leaders to deeply understand team needs, translate strategic hiring goals into actionable talent plans, and provide data-informed recommendations that influence hiring decisions and long-term team composition.
  • • You will build and execute proactive, innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-calibre, diverse talent in competitive and emerging markets, leveraging both traditional channels and cutting-edge recruiting technologies to uncover passive candidates and strengthen talent pipelines.
  • • Acting as a trusted advisor, you will challenge assumptions, drive alignment among stakeholders, and maintain rigorous assessment standards while guiding hiring managers through complex evaluation processes with empathy and clarity.
  • • You will deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every touchpoint, ensuring interactions reflect OpenAI’s mission-driven culture, values, and commitment to respect, transparency, and inclusivity throughout the recruitment journey.
  • • In collaboration with People, Legal, and Compensation teams, you will navigate global hiring complexities, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, fairness in processes, and consistency in offer structures across EMEA markets.
  • • You will continuously evaluate and improve recruiting workflows by identifying bottlenecks, implementing scalable solutions, and enhancing process efficiency to increase both the quality and velocity of hires without compromising on standards.
  • • By bringing market intelligence, competitive insights, and trend analysis to stakeholders, you will help shape OpenAI’s evolving GTM talent strategy and position the company as an employer of choice in the AI industry.
  • • You will operate within a mission-driven, close-knit recruiting team that values relationship-first hiring, thoughtful decision-making, and a deep commitment to connecting exceptional humans with meaningful work at the forefront of AI innovation.
  • • The GTM team at OpenAI is scaling rapidly to deploy AI products worldwide, and your contributions will directly support the organization’s ability to grow its commercial footprint while maintaining a culture of safety, collaboration, and intellectual rigor.
  • • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in strategic talent acquisition, global hiring compliance, stakeholder influence, and data-driven recruiting—skills that are highly transferable and valuable for long-term career growth in talent leadership or HR strategy.
  • • You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on OpenAI’s ability to scale responsibly by helping build a world-class GTM team that not only drives revenue but also champions the safe and ethical deployment of AI technology across diverse markets and cultures.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in-house at high-growth or high-bar technology or professional services organizations.
  • • Proven success hiring for Go-to-Market functions including Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Technical Solutions, RevOps, or User Operations.
  • • Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and navigating ambiguity with sound judgment and emotional intelligence.
  • • Strong talent assessment skills, with the capacity to evaluate both experience and potential while consistently raising the hiring bar.
  • • Highly execution-oriented, capable of managing multiple complex, concurrent searches without sacrificing quality, timeliness, or candidate experience.
  • • Expertise in building talent pipelines from scratch, particularly in competitive or niche markets, using creative sourcing and engagement techniques.
  • • Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience collaborating across regions, time zones, and diverse organizational contexts.
  • • Data-informed mindset, using recruiting metrics, market insights, and process analytics to guide decisions and improve outcomes.
  • • Proficiency with modern recruiting tools (e.g., ATS, CRM, sourcing platforms) and a proactive attitude toward adopting new technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Opportunity to work on mission-critical hiring initiatives at the forefront of artificial intelligence, contributing to a company dedicated to ensuring AI benefits all of humanity.
  • • Collaborative, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating work environment within a close-knit recruiting team that values relationship-first hiring and thoughtful decision-making.
  • • Exposure to global hiring challenges and the chance to influence talent strategy across EMEA markets through collaboration with senior business and People leaders.
  • • Professional growth in strategic recruiting, stakeholder management, data-driven decision-making, and compliance navigation within a high-impact, innovative organization.
  • • Access to OpenAI’s comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, wellness programs, learning and development resources, and flexible work arrangements supporting work-life integration.
