- • This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of our Japan organization within a dynamic, high-ownership, and fast-paced environment, where your strategic insights and execution will directly impact our success.
- • You will serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to hiring managers and interviewers, guiding them through the intricacies of the recruitment process and ensuring alignment on candidate profiles and evaluation criteria.
- • Proactive sourcing and engagement of potential future employees, often referred to as 'Notinos,' will be a core responsibility, requiring innovative strategies to build robust talent pipelines.

- • A key objective is to own the entire recruiting lifecycle for GTM roles in Japan, with a primary focus on Account Executives and other critical sales positions, ensuring a seamless and efficient process from initial outreach to final offer.
- • You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including direct sourcing, thorough qualification, and successful closing, all while maintaining a high standard of candidate care.
- • Leading role kick-off meetings will be essential, where you will meticulously define candidate profiles, establish clear interview plans, and develop standardized scorecards to foster consistent and high-quality hiring decisions.

- • Establishing and maintaining trusted, collaborative partnerships with the Japan leadership team is crucial to ensure that Notion secures the right talent at the opportune moments, thereby enabling the company to achieve its ambitious growth objectives.
- • You will be responsible for developing and implementing scalable, structured hiring plans for all assigned roles, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and proactive ownership, while simultaneously building repeatable processes and creative recruitment solutions that will support the scaling of the recruiting team for years to come.
- • Inspiring candidates throughout every stage of the interview process, from initial contact to offer acceptance, will be a key aspect of your role, requiring you to craft customized closing strategies tailored to each individual candidate's motivations and aspirations.
- • Close collaboration with peers and cross-functional partners, including Recruiting Coordinators, HR Business Partners (HRBPs)/People Partners, Compensation Partners, Recruiting Operations, Executive Operations Partners, and Revenue Operations, will be vital for a cohesive and effective recruitment function.
- • This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks in the hiring process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.
- • You will play a key role in employer branding initiatives within the Japanese market, representing Notion as an employer of choice and attracting top talent through compelling outreach and engagement.
- • The ability to adapt to evolving business needs and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly will be paramount in this dynamic environment.
- • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of recruiting practices and tools, sharing insights and best practices with the broader recruiting team.
- • Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to consistently deliver exceptional talent that drives Notion's business forward in Japan.
