• • The GTM (Go-To-Market) team at Pinecone is building the essential infrastructure that underpins modern AI applications, ranging from sophisticated semantic search engines to large-scale agentic workflows. Our customers depend on Pinecone to deliver robust, production-grade AI systems, and it is imperative that our go-to-market engine matches this technical prowess. • • We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept GTM Systems Engineer to construct and scale the technical foundation of Pinecone's revenue-generating engine. This is a critical, high-impact position situated at the nexus of Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Data. The core mandate of this role is to leverage cutting-edge AI, sophisticated automation techniques, and robust systems design principles to empower our sales teams to operate with greater speed, sell with enhanced intelligence, and scale their efforts efficiently.
• • The GTM Systems Engineer will assume ownership of the intricate interplay between various tools, data streams, and AI capabilities that support every facet of the customer journey. This includes optimizing pipeline generation, streamlining deal execution processes, enhancing forecasting accuracy, and driving expansion revenue. This is fundamentally a builder role, ideal for an individual who is passionate about pioneering the next generation of GTM strategies with a distinct AI-first philosophy.
• • Key responsibilities will encompass the design, development, and continuous optimization of sales and revenue operations workflows that span the entire customer lifecycle, from initial lead engagement through opportunity qualification, successful closing, and subsequent expansion phases.
• • You will lead and manage the AI Specialist and GTM Engineering teams, ensuring they are aligned with and effectively support the strategic vision and technical systems designed for GTM operations.
• • A crucial aspect of this role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Data teams. This partnership will be essential for identifying operational bottlenecks, understanding strategic imperatives, and translating high-level GTM strategies into scalable, reliable technical systems.
• • You will be instrumental in applying advanced AI techniques and automation solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs), intelligent agents, API integrations, and workflow orchestration platforms, to significantly enhance sales team productivity, improve pipeline quality, boost forecasting accuracy, and accelerate deal velocity.
• • This role requires integrating and extending our core GTM technology stack, which includes CRM systems, data enrichment tools, sales orchestration platforms, and various internal tooling, to forge a cohesive, dependable, and unified sales operating system.
• • You will architect, deploy, and iterate on AI-powered prototypes and production workflows designed to proactively identify and eliminate friction points within existing sales processes, thereby creating a smoother and more efficient sales experience.
• • A significant responsibility will be to ensure the reliability, data integrity, and adherence to operational best practices across all GTM tooling and systems.
