  • • As a Guru Field Representative in Los Angeles, California, you will be instrumental in spearheading Brooks’ field support strategy across all designated distribution channels within your territory. Your primary objective will be to significantly increase market share and drive sell-through at the retail level, solidifying Brooks’ position as a leader in product innovation and quality. You will be responsible for amplifying our brand message, building robust recognition, enhancing overall awareness, and cultivating deep-seated loyalty among consumers and partners alike. This role is pivotal in translating our brand's ethos and product excellence directly to the consumer and retail environment, ensuring Brooks remains top-of-mind and the preferred choice for runners and active individuals.
  • • Your day-to-day will involve immersing yourself in the dynamic world of running and athletic retail. You will act as the primary brand ambassador, connecting with retail partners, educating store staff on Brooks’ latest innovations and product lines, and providing invaluable insights into consumer behavior and market trends. This hands-on approach ensures that our retail partners are not only well-informed but also enthusiastic advocates for the Brooks brand. You will be tasked with developing and executing strategic in-store activations, product demonstrations, and educational clinics designed to engage consumers, drive trial, and ultimately convert interest into sales. Your presence in the field is crucial for gathering real-time feedback on product performance, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape, which will be vital for informing future product development and marketing strategies. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with key retail accounts, fostering strong partnerships that contribute to mutual growth and success. This includes understanding their business objectives and aligning Brooks' strategies to support their goals. Furthermore, you will play a key role in identifying and nurturing opportunities to expand Brooks’ presence and influence within the local running community, potentially through partnerships with local running clubs, events, and influencers. Your ability to inspire and educate will be paramount in creating a loyal customer base and driving sustainable sales growth. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a field-based environment and possesses a genuine passion for the running industry and the Brooks brand. You will be the eyes and ears of Brooks in the Los Angeles market, providing critical intelligence and executing strategies that ensure our continued success and leadership in the performance footwear and apparel space.   • • Develop and execute strategic field plans to increase market share and drive sell-through across all relevant distribution channels.
  • • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key retail partners and their staff.
  • • Conduct engaging product knowledge training sessions and in-store demonstrations for retail associates and consumers.
  • • Gather and analyze market intelligence, including consumer insights, competitor activity, and retail trends, to inform Brooks’ strategies.
  • • Execute impactful in-store activations, events, and grassroots marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
  • • Provide exceptional field support, ensuring Brooks products are optimally presented and effectively merchandised.
  • • Act as a liaison between the field and internal Brooks teams, communicating valuable feedback and insights.
  • • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow the Brooks brand within the local running community.
  • • Achieve and exceed territory sales and performance objectives.
  • • Uphold and embody Brooks’ brand values in all interactions and activities.
  • • Required to reside within 30 miles of the designated territory to ensure effective market coverage and responsiveness.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in a field sales, brand representation, or retail support role, preferably within the athletic or footwear industry.
  • • Deep understanding of the running industry, including product technology, market trends, and consumer behavior.
  • • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
  • • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a territory independently and effectively.
  • • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for achieving goals.
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is a plus.
  • • Must reside within 30 miles of the designated Los Angeles territory.
