- • The HDx Account Manager at Agilent Technologies is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with Healthcare Diagnostics customers within an assigned territory, driving sales of cancer diagnostic products including genomics and pathology automated workflow solutions to exceed sales goals and performance expectations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic sales plans, preparing account plans to identify customer needs, forecasting demand, providing sales and budget reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams (service, applications, marketing), conducting technical presentations, participating in trade shows, and serving as a point of escalation for customer issues during product utilization.
- • The role involves regular engagement with multiple stakeholders such as pathologists, administrators, technicians, purchasing agents, and managers in hospitals, reference labs, cancer centers, and clinical diagnostic facilities, requiring both in-person and virtual communication to maintain strong account relationships and gather feedback.
- • The Account Manager contributes to product lifecycle improvement by sharing customer insights with marketing and product engineering teams, develops Total Available Market analyses, and delivers bi-annual Business Review Analyses to top customers, all while ensuring compliance with healthcare industry regulations and achieving assigned KPIs.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Medical Technologist certification and/or equivalent experience
- • 4+ years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of developing new business and maintaining existing accounts
- • 4+ years of experience selling medical devices or related products and services
- • Experience calling on reference labs, medical centers, pathologists, or related providers is highly desirable
- • Working knowledge of Genomics and Next Generation Sequencing workflows is a plus
- • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams, and CRM tools
- • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- • Must reside in the NJ area
