- ⢠Own the engine room of a fast-growing AI healthcare company. As Head of Business Operations you will sit at the nexus of finance, HR, legal, and culture, translating the foundersâ vision into repeatable, scalable systems that let Doctronic serve millions of patients without missing a beat.
- ⢠Build the operational backbone from the ground up. You will design and continuously refine the processes that move money, data, and people through the companyâeverything from monthly close cadences to onboarding checklistsâso that every team member can focus on building world-class AI care instead of firefighting.
- ⢠Run the full HR stack end-to-end. Own onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. You will choose and manage our PEO or HRIS, negotiate benefits packages, and ensure every new hire feels welcomed, productive, and aligned to our mission within their first week.
- ⢠Keep the books immaculate. You will own the general ledger, manage AP/AR, reconcile accounts, and partner with external accountants to produce timely, GAAP-compliant financial statements. Youâll build dashboards that give the founders and investors real-time visibility into burn, runway, and unit economics.
- ⢠Be the cultural amplifier. Translate Doctronicâs valuesâsafety, empathy, speed, and scientific rigorâinto rituals, policies, and communications that scale. Whether itâs designing a remote-first retreat, writing a transparent compensation philosophy, or rolling out a peer-recognition program, you will ensure culture grows stronger as headcount grows larger.
- ⢠Drive data-driven decision making. Build and maintain KPIs for finance, people, and customer operations; surface insights that inform strategic choices like pricing, hiring plans, and geographic expansion. Your weekly ops reports will become the single source of truth for the leadership team.
- ⢠Own vendor and contract management. Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with accountants, lawyers, benefits brokers, SaaS vendors, and healthcare compliance partners. You will track renewals, monitor SLAs, and ensure every dollar and clause serves Doctronicâs long-term interests.
- ⢠Lead cross-functional special projects. When we launch a new state, roll out a new AI model, or raise the next round, you will quarterback the operational workstreamsâsecuring regulatory approvals, updating financial models, and coordinating launch logisticsâso the company hits ambitious deadlines without burning out the team.
- ⢠Champion continuous improvement. Establish a culture of documentation, retrospectives, and lightweight process iteration. You will create playbooks, Notion wikis, and Loom videos that allow any new operator to ramp in days, not months.
- ⢠Report directly to the co-founders and serve as a trusted thought partner. You will translate board-level goals into quarterly OKRs, own the operational budget, and present monthly updates that give investors confidence in our ability to scale responsibly.
