- • As Head of Business Operations at Common Room, you will build and operate the internal systems, processes, and operating cadence that allow the company to scale efficiently, serving as the operational backbone across Finance Operations, People Operations, and cross-functional initiatives.
- • You will design and run the company’s operating model, partner with leadership to translate priorities into measurable plans, drive operational rigor through metrics and reporting, and improve cross-functional coordination between GTM, Product, and Leadership teams.
- • You will work closely with the CEO, VP of Revenue Operations, and leadership to identify bottlenecks, implement improvements, and ensure scalable growth without accumulating operational or technical debt, while solving complex operational problems in a fast-moving startup environment.
- • Common Room is an AI GTM Platform that unifies buyer journey signals into a person-level view, backed by $50M+ from top investors and operators from companies like Figma, Stripe, and Notion, with a culture rooted in simplicity, trust, and customer-centricity.
- • You will build scalable infrastructure by evaluating and implementing core systems (ERP, HRIS, payroll, recruiting tools), defining ownership boundaries, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring data flows support reliable reporting and decision-making.
- • You will establish financial rigor by maintaining GAAP-compliant processes, overseeing revenue recognition, managing cash flow and burn rate, and maintaining key SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV) to support strategic planning.
- • You will design and operate employee lifecycle processes, ensure compliance with employment laws, manage HRIS and benefits, support performance and compensation cycles, and serve as a trusted resource for managers and employees on people-related operations.
- • You will lead strategic projects to eliminate operational gaps, provide data-driven insights for pricing, packaging, and organizational scaling, and improve execution by establishing clear accountability and removing systemic bottlenecks.
