  • • As Head of Cloud Alliances at TigerData Inc., you will own and define the company’s hyperscaler partnership strategy end-to-end, starting with AWS and expanding to Azure and GCP, turning cloud providers into a true growth engine by aligning product, sales, and marketing around co-sell and marketplace motions that drive measurable revenue.
  • • You will be responsible for owning and executing the AWS partnership strategy across co-sell, marketplace, and partner programs; defining how TigerData positions itself within AWS through product alignment, messaging, and field engagement; building and scaling co-sell motions with AWS account teams and solution architects to drive qualified pipeline and revenue; driving AWS Marketplace strategy including listing optimization, private offers, and deal acceleration; establishing a clear prioritization framework for AWS initiatives; building deep, trust-based relationships with key AWS stakeholders across partner org, field, and product teams; partnering with Product & Engineering to influence roadmap and integrations that strengthen the AWS position; aligning Sales, Marketing, and Product around a cohesive AWS-driven GTM motion; owning partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue metrics and holding the company accountable; managing and mentoring a lean team (starting with 1 direct report) while staying deeply hands-on; identifying how AI within AWS (e.g., Bedrock, data/ML ecosystem) intersects with product and partnership strategy; and eventually expanding into Azure/GCP partnerships.

  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in hyperscaler partnership dynamics, learn how to influence product roadmaps through field insights, build scalable GTM motions that translate technical differentiation into revenue, and establish yourself as a strategic leader who can turn cloud ecosystems into sustainable growth engines—gaining visibility with executive stakeholders and impacting the company’s long-term market position.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of experience in cloud partnerships, alliances, or strategic business development, ideally in infrastructure, data, or developer tools
  • • Deep, first-hand experience working with AWS, including understanding how partner, field, and sales motions actually work and how decisions are made within the ecosystem
  • • Proven track record of building or significantly scaling AWS co-sell and/or marketplace motions that drove measurable revenue
  • • Ability to define clear targets for partner-led and partner-influenced revenue, track progress weekly, and take full ownership and accountability for delivering against those goals
  • • Equally strong in strategy and execution—capable of defining plans and also getting deals across the finish line
  • • Experience working with technical products such as databases, data infrastructure, IoT, or similar domains
  • • Ability to build credibility with both technical stakeholders and AWS business teams
  • • Comfort influencing exec-level stakeholders internally and externally
  • • Thrives in ambiguity and knows how to prioritize high-leverage opportunities without overbuilding process
  • • Clear perspective on how AI is changing the AWS ecosystem (e.g., Bedrock, data/ML) and how companies should adapt
